Where Can I Find a Notary in Bay Ridge?

I am putting this here for me (and you too)

This Summer, a neighbor needed a notary and I went to help him find one. It took several tries because a lot of places no longer had notaries due to Covid or people were away for the Summer.

The paper was eventually notarized at Bay Ridge Pharmacy at 6910 3rd Avenue. 718-680-2229 (in the pharmacy at the back of the store)

Anette shared her card above and that she specializes in general notary work, specifically in documents such as: affidavits, DMV forms, school docs, wills, court docs and adoption paperwork.

Why is Congresswoman Malliotakis the Only One Telling Us This?

Money is being given out like water.

Why aren’t all of our elected politicians talking about this?

Unfortunately it’s true. (See article)

Orange Cat with Collar – 84th and 14th Ave.

People have seen this nice orange cat with a collar on 84th and 14th Avenue.

The cat won’t allow anyone to come close (so he can’t be taken to be scanned).

But if you are missing your cat or wondering where you cat is all day, he’s out eating in the neighborhood and people are worried about him.

Car Upside Down Outside of Clavin’s

This flipped car happened on 78th Street & 4th Avenue this morning around 1:00 am. At first it was reported that the person was stuck in the vehicle and then it said that a man fled. Info here.

Anyone who overturns a vehicle has to be going at high speeds. They should be fined for using the city’s resources.

Update: By the end of the day, not one politician mentioned it, as if it didn’t happen in our community. ** Please Elect People Who Care **

86th Street, Around the Golf Course & Poly Place in Dyker Heights

People have complained about 86th Street and around the golf course for awhile. During the Summer, the 68th Precinct had some trucks towed.

No one is watching here – so 86th Street and the streets surrounding the golf course are covered with trucks and trailers.

The trailer below is badly parked, but the owner doesn’t care because no one comes by here to ticket them.

We need new local representatives who care enough about the area, rather than playing on social media.

Who are these lucky duckies with prime commercial parking and no tickets?

No one was sleeping in these cars today.

Poly Prep is on this block and no one seems to care that these trucks are near the school.

Years ago, people used to walk around the golf course. But the area has deteriorated and no one walks around it.

The campers had no one in them – they are being stored here.

At the 68th Precinct NCO’s meeting tonight (September 30th), the officers talked about how they removed them last month. These are huge vehicles so it takes a lot to tow them.

Huge storage truck left on the street for at least four days – maybe more.

Not one journalist will report about this.

Beyond Dance Moved to 8009 – 3rd Avenue

Beyond Dance moved down the Avenue to 8009 – 3rd Avenue. They were on 87th Street and 3rd.

This storefront used to belong to The Painted Pot and has been empty for a long time. It’s nice to see a great business that will be here for many years take that place!

They are excited to see everyone for the Third Avenue Festival this weekend!
