Councilman Brannan’s Property Tax Exemption to Three Properties in Queens

Councilman Justin Brannan introduced a bill to get a tax exemption for three properties in Queens. The resolution passed immediately in NYC Council. (See here)

The developer receiving the property tax exemption for the next 40 years should not have been able to receive this. I’ll go into this more tomorrow.

So much for elected officials taxing the rich and having them pay their fair share. Brannan is giving out tax breaks.

Who is Justin Brannan representing?

Late to Express Outrage….The Bay Ridge Dems

The Bay Ridge Dems took a lot longer than other Democrats to speak out against the leaked Roe vs. Wade memo.

They are holding a rally this evening outside of Congress represenative, Nicole Malliotakis’ office at 5:30 pm.

There isn’t a chance that Nicole or her employees would be there, so this is just for the Democrats to take a photo. If they wanted to talk to her, they would have gone during the week to Staten Island.

Update: Very small turnout from the Bay Ridge Dems (see photos here)

Abortion is codified in New York State so the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe vs. Wade will not change things in NYS.

Yet, Andrew Gounardes fear-mongered:

This appeared to be a photo-opt for Andrew Gounardes, whose up for re-election in November.

A Channel 12 microphone was in one of the photos. There were also two other man who are running for Democrat District Leader and political staffers….so less than 20 residents. Councilman Brannan did not join his group.
