June 18, 2022Bay Ridge Residents Near the Bridge Hear Beeping Constantly At Night
People are hearing construction noise and beeping late at night/early morning hours near the Verrazano Bridge.
The beeping is coming from trucks that back down the ramps. This has been going on for awhile.
If you live nearby the entrances to the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge, you may hear the noise.
People have contacted Councilman Justin Brannan and Senator Andrew Gounardes, but there hasn’t been any change.

They received no acceptances from the twelve high schools they applied to and they have 97% averages.

Hok Wong is a 69-year-old man that went missing yesterday, June 16th between 2:00 – 5:00 pm. He is from 18th Avenue and Benson Avenue in Bensnhurst, Brooklyn.
Name: Hok Cheung Wong
Age: 69 years old
Last location: Benson Avenue and 18 Avenue (Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York)
5’ 6”, approx. 170 lbs
Most comfortable speaking Cantonese and some Mandarin, but speaks broken English too.
He has dementia and should be wearing a white T-shirt, navy blue shorts, and possibly a gray thin jacket unless he changed before leaving.

Around 7:20 pm this evening, a car crashed on the sidewalk on 12th Avenue and 78th Street.
Hopefully, no people on the street were hurt – there were a lot of ambulances thee. (See Video)
