Kepi Vs. Tannousis – Tannousis Wins

Michael Tannousis won over Marko Kepi.

I’m surprised Marty Golden’s endorsement didn’t carry Kepi.

The Weakness of the Republican Party

The Republican Party had a great candidate – Joseph Caldarera.

Joe  has a squeaky clean background. He’s optimistic and represents the ideals of the Republican Party.

Joe bought hand sanitizer at a distillery in Brooklyn to give out in Staten Island at the beginning of the Pandemic when no one had hand sanitizer. That’s someone who you want leading!

If he was a bit more towards the center on some of his opinions, Democrats would be interested in Joe.

What does the Republican Party do with that?  Nothing…they didn’t offer him any support or back him – even though he represents what they believe in.

Joe’s biggest weakness was his age, but it shouldn’t have been. If there was a real Republican Party they would have thrown their support behind Joe.

Alicia Degener’s Art is Inspiring and Spreads Hope

Alicia Degener’s Art

Wow! Alicia Degener’s Statue of Liberty is beautiful and the message is awesome.

Someone should collaborate with Deneger and make t-shirts.  Degener lives in Bay Ridge.

Degener was has a series of Statue of Liberty’s on windows in Bay Ridge. Community Board 10 has Deneger’s masked Statue of Liberty.

Suds and Bubbles has a Statue of Liberty that reminds visitors to wear their mask.

Denerger’s Verrazzano Bridges are also on two stores in Bay Ridge:

Degener’s work on the Window of My Natural Pet.

The art coming out now really means a lot and withstand the test of time.   Did you see the Black Lives mural in Bay Ridge?  See here

Camp Firefly on Third Avenue – Enjoy!

The Brooklyn Firefly has named their outdoor seating area Camp Firefly.  It’s Summer!

They have pizza, sausage and peppers, and cold drinks on the “campground.”

You still have to have have a face mask in order to be served at restaurants in general.

They have hand sanitizer on all the socially distanced tables.
