November 13, 2025Man Choked and Attempted to Rape a Man on Shore Road and 99th Street in Bay Ridge

On Friday, November 7th around 6:30 pm, a man choked and attempted to rape a 24-year-old man on Shore Road and 99th Street (near 9971 Shore Road).
See News:
Thank you to the victim for reporting this and providing information about the perp to the police (and in turn to our community). We are sorry this happened to you. The victim was taken to the hospital.

The perp pictured above has a medium complexion, is between 25 and 30 years of age, 5 feet – 7 inches tall, short, black dreadlocks. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
If you have any information contact the NYPD at 800-577-TIPS
“The assault was one of 13 rape cases reported in the 68th Precinct year-to-date through Nov. 9, equal to the same number of such incidents that occurred at the same point a year ago.”
The politicians and police are all silent – no one wants to share that information with the community. It’s almost a week later – other people could have been hurt in that time. Not one shared the picture or what happened on social media. Parents have the right to know, so they can show the perps picture to their teens.

This was the 13th rape in the 68th Precinct this year. Not one politician or police officer has mentioned any of the 12 rapes that have happened. Were any of the rapists arrested?
