August 31, 2025Bay Ridge Parents Shared Their Fight For Their Son’s Life and Then For Justice – NY Times

Connor Barr died in 2022 from fentanyl poisoning.

His parents fought for him and tried getting him help many times.

After Connor died, his parents sought justice for him by turning over important information to the police. The man who supplied Connor with drugs was arrestred and brought to court. Although he didn’t get as many years in jail as Connor’s family hope, he was sentenced to jail. Read their story here:
https://tinyurl.com/yh3ht6zt (It is a very sad story)
The government needs to make harsher penalties for drug dealers. If someone dies from a product they sold, they should be charged with murder. People who are purchasing oxy, valium, or cocaine don’t know it is laced with fentanyl.
RIP Connor.
