Sal Albanese Talked With Kayla Santosuosso on His Podcasts

Sal Albanese had a podcast with Kayla Santosuosso.
Years ago, Sal Albanese was a councilman, who represented Bay Ridge. Now he lives in Staten Island, has run several unsuccessful campaigns and compliments Zohran Mamdani regularly on social media.
While Albanese should have been able to provide substantial knowledge and a hearty interview with Santosuosso, this clip is pretty bad.
Sal Albanese knows exactly why Bay Ridge and Coney Island were put into one district. And Albanese knows no Democrats spoke out against gerrymandering, including Kayla Santosuosso. Sal was too afraid to speak the truth in the podcast. He’s been around all these years and Albanese couldn’t speak honestly about a gerrymandered district.
It’s strange that Kayla Santosuosso is playing with podcasts when the district needs so much work.

Is an Eleven Story Building Coming to 9201 – 4th Avenue in Bay Ridge?
On Monday, December 8, 2025 at 7:00 pm, Community Board 10 is having a Zoning and Land Use Meeting to discuss rezoning of 9201 – 4th Avenue. You can go to the District Office at 8119 – 5th Avenue or register to participate over Zoom at: https://bit.ly/44aeVhW
9201 – 4th Avenue will need both a zoning map amendment and a zoning text amendment. If they rezone for this building, all other buildings will also want to build to eleven stories.

Community Board 10, Justin Brannan and the unregistered lobbyist did not do the best for our community.
In 2021, we saw Community Board approve the second school property that Tim Ziss owned because of Justin Brannan’s push. Info: Nathan’s Property and This New School – What No One Is Telling Bay Ridge About These Two Properties..(see the video on how this went down at a CB 10 Meeting).

You won’t see Senator Andrew Gounardes or ANYONE on CB 10 stand up and speak for the community on this. #Crickets

Brannan, Zhuang & Carr Support Menin for NYC Council Speaker. Alexa Aviles Does Not
Julie Menin shared that she has the votes to be the next NYC Council Speaker. Three out of four NYC Council representatives which represent Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights are supporting Julie Menin for NYC Council Speaker.
According to the chart above, Justin Brannan, Susan Zhuang and David Carr are supporting Menin. Alexa Aviles is not supporting Menin.
Councilwoman Susan Zhuang eexplained her support for Menin. I love when politicians share the reason they are supporting a bill or person.
Menin is a moderate Democrat and hopefully will bring some balance to NYC.

Robbery 85th Street & Fort Hamilton Parkway 11/15 – Just Shared Today
At 6:30 pm on Saturday, November 15th. two thieves robbed an 18-year-old guy. The thieves simulated a gun and threatened the teen. They even stole his jacket. Thankfully, the teenm was not injured.
The first thief wore a gray sweatshirt, black jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
The second thief had a blue sweater, black vest, blue sweatpants and white sneakers.
Senator Andrew Gounardes and Justin Brannan do not communicate with the NYPD so they don’t share the information with the community.

RIP – Man in His 30’s Drowned in Coney Island
A man’s body was found floating near the Boardwalk on Monday, November 25th at 7:30 am. He was unconscious and unresponsive and was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

17-Year-Old Sexually Assaulted on 13th Avenue and Bay Ridge Avenue

WANTED FOR A FORCIBLE TOUCHING: on Monday, November 24th at 7:05 pm on 13 Avenue and Bay Ridge Avenue.
A 17-year-old female victim was approached from behind by an unidentified individual riding a bicycle.
The individual grabbed the victim’s buttocks and then fled the location on the bicycle traveling westbound on Bay Ridge Avenue.
The creep was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, beige jacket, black pants, and light colored sneakers.
This area is represented by Alexa Aviles, Steve Chan and Lester Chang.
