Felix Needs a Home

Felix is up for adoption! Felix is great with other cats.

He is neutered, vaccinated and negative for FIV/FELV.

Felix was living on the streets in Sunset Park. A neighbor on the block where he was rescued told us that he was born in April 2020, meaning that his first birthday is coming up. Let’s get him the best first birthday present ever: a forever home.

Felix needs a quiet home with no kids. Other cats are okay. Give a shy cat a chance. Adopt Felix!

Tannousis Voted Against Pot Bill – Safety Concerns

One of Bay Ridge’s four state representatives made a responsible call on the pot bill.

Mike Tannousis’ concern was that more people would be driving while under the influence.

Tannousis chose to deal with safety issues first. He shared this tweet:

When accidents results from people driving under the influence, I don’t want to hear Senator Gounardes telling us this his heart is breaking. Those the empty words!

I appreciate that Tannousis thought of safety.

Warning for 4th Avenue and 97th Street

This morning a nice person shared how their friend’s windshield was shot at with a pellet gun on 4th Avenue and 97th Street. Someone in an apartment shot at a moving car.

They shared the picture of their winshield above.

They believe it was kids playing around with a .22 pellet gun. Bay Ridge residents said this could do a lot more serious damage to someone’s eye or skin than a BB.

If you aren’t in the mood to make a hospital visit or replace your windshield, avoid 4th Avenue and 97th Street near Marine Avenue.
