Cyclist Struck by a Car on 13th Ave 72nd St.
The Citizen App is showing that a cyclist was hit by a car tonight on 13th Avenue and 72nd Street.
It appears that the person who was hit is okay and is having a conversation with the firemen. See video

Bay Ridge BID Easter Egg Hunt 4/4
The Bay Ridge BID is having an Easter Egg Hunt on 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge – from 67- 85 Streets. Look for eggs with prizes while you are strolling, shopping or dining on 5th Avenue.
That is such a sweet idea and a great way for people to still have an egg hunt and be socially distant.

Law and Order SVU Spinoff – Stabler is in Bay Ridge and Coney Island
Law and Order SVU fans are happy to see NYPD Detective, Elliot Stabler in his own serious called Organized Law.

**Spoiler Ahead ** – don’t proceed if you don’t want to know.
SPOILER: Stabler returns from Italy and his wife is killed. He meets the bad guys near the Verrazzano Bridge to talk.
Stabler confronts the bad guys about their involvement in selling counterfeit N95 masks (from this story). Law and Order often mentions current NY situations.
There are a few scenes of the bag guys and Stabler looking for them in Coney Island as well.
This is not the first time that Stabler has mentioned Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. In Law and Order Season 10 – episode 20 – Stabler was undercover and said he told someone that he lived on 89^th and Colonial Road. (That episode was recently on television).

Bay Ridge Dad Created a Comic Book with His Son
Led Bradshaw and his son, Jake, created the comic book series, “Jake Jetpulse.”
Their story was on the Today show and it’s very inspiring! Led helped his son, who has autism, increase his self-esteem and improve his reading with this comic. See the video
In addition, Led set up a website about the comic and added an autism database to the site. See website here

Kings Bay Y Summer Camp is back at Fort Hamilton Army Base!
In 2020, they didn’t have any COVID-19 cases with over 500 campers.

Accident on 89th and Colonial
A car flew through the stop sign on 89th street and hit a car on Colonial Road.
A baby was in the car. The baby and passengers are okay. Thank God.
There is no traffic signal here, even though this location had accidents in the past.

Shawarma & Bites opened at 7123 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge.
It’s across the street from Balady. This used to be a tattoo parlor and it was also a cell phone store.

Shaggy is Missing in Bay Ridge – Dyker Area
Shaggy is lost in Bay Ridge.
$500 Reward.

Shaggy’s owner had him for 25 years! He flew away yesterday near Gelston and 90th Street.

Venezia Realty opened at 7807 – 3rd Avenue.
I caught a glimpse of their bright blue awning next to My Thai restaurant (not the greatest photo, but you get the idea).
