A 14-Year-Old Was Robbed on the Train – May 6th – No One Told Bay Ridge Until Today, June 3rd
These two men attacked a 14-year-old boy and fled the train at the 95th Street station.
These men stole the boy’s iphone, his $5.00 and they put him on the floor of the train. How awful!
This happened on May 6th. Why didn’t anyone tell us until now, Thursday, June 3rd?
I also was not able to find this crime listed on Compstat.
Parents in this community have a right to know this! They should have been told on May 6th or at the latest May 7th.
What would be nice is a heads-up that something has happened in #BayRidge
The 68th Precinct has Twitter (see here) – why can’t they put it up so the neighborhood knows and is alert to these men?
If the NCO’s have a relationship with the community, why haven’t any of them told us?
When a newspaper reports a crime from weeks ago, it means Capt. Tolson doesn’t care. @NYPD68Pct Captain Tolson doesn’t live here, but if this happened where he lived, he would want to know!
We have four politicians on social media. None of them shared this information. Is it that they don’t know or they don’t care?
This is why many residents have the Citizen App because the police and politicians aren’t communicating what people should know.

We watched Eric Gardner die on video and his case was sealed. But hearing Tannousis present the position that witnesses won’t testify because the proceedings unless the proceedings are sealed makes sense.

Andrew Yang confidently spoke, “Eric, We all know that you have been investigated for corruption everywhere you’ve gone. City, State, even Barach Obama’s Department of Justice investigated you. You have achieved a rare Trifecta of Corruption Investigations! Is that what we want in the next mayor?”

Yang continued to blast Adam, “Do you think that you are going to enter City Hall and its going to be different? We all know it is going to be exactly the same! That’s why so many people on the stage don’t want you to be mayor.”
Eric Adams just stood there as NYC voters listened to what has been going on in our city for a long time.
It was a beautiful moment! The truth dripped all over Adams. CORRUPTION IS A REAL PROBLEM IN NYC.
The truth also poured down our community as well. Why? Andrew Gounardes was Eric Adams’ attorney. Gounardes knows and still endorsed Eric Adams. Gounardes is a father now and he still thought it was okay to play politics, instead of to tell his community the truth about Eric Adams.
Councilman Justin Brannan and Eric Adams were pushing a drone bill that newspapers revealed was being backed by lobbyists. Justin Brannan started pushing the bill during the first month he was elected. (See here) Brannan even pushed this bill last September during the pandemic. (See here)

Early Voting starts on June 12. The Board of Elections said so:

Yesterday, Quaglione posted on Facebook that June 11th is the start of early voting:
There is no voting on June 11th – don’t go to the polls until June 12th. (Board of Elections website)
Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights – this is not important to him! That’s something a district leader would know!
Vote for Bob Casara and Hei Man “Heidi” Chan and let’s get the Brooklyn Republican Party out of this slump. Bring in fresh people and new energy!

Greek Festival in Downtown Brooklyn – Off Court Street
Many years ago, I walked into this festival.
Since then, I bring everyone to it as if I belong to that church. Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Brooklyn’s Festival is on Schermerhorn Street – off Court Street starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 3rd!
This festival is this week June 3rd – 5th and next week, June 10th – 12th too!

Art of Brooklyn Film Festival June 1st – 12th
The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival is from June 1-12th.
This is for new indie feature films, blocks of shorts in all genres, livestreamed filmmaker talkbacks, skill-building panels and workshops and in-person events as well!
Tickets for online access is $12. You can also get a full access pass for $50 (there are meetups and an in-person viewings in Sunset Park)
Danny Aiello’s last film will be shown.

Bad accident on 93rd off 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge.
