Whose Moving Into This Spot?

The former dealership at 8825 5th Avenue was covered over with paper.
This shop has been closed for awhile now, but residents could look in at the dealership – no cars and a lot of empty desks. Now no one can look in.

Then I saw that someone shared this video of them cleaning, a new tenant must be coming soon!
Why does it matter what goes here? District 10 decided to put a school across the street from this location. It matters as this is a very busy street with two way traffic and the B63 bus!

A person was robbed on Tuesday, April 27th at 2:45 am in Sunset Park – 51st and 6th Avenue.
The robber struck the person with a wooden stick.
The police shared this video today – May 2nd.

Bay Ridge was alive and happy today.
On 5th Avenue and 80th Street there was a huge crowd outside of Mussels Brick Oven pizza.
The crowd were gathered around and signing along with the band to the Doobie Brothers song, “Gimmie the beat boy to free my soul, I want to get lost in your rock ‘n’ roll and drift away.”
It was nice to see people enjoying themselves again!

I was so sad to see this news. Little Forno has closed permanently. They were open three years – before that this place was Petit Oven.
What a loss for our neighborhood.
