Boy Scout Troop 23 will be selling plants in front of Our Lady of Angel’s church on Sunday, May 9th from 9:00 am -1:00 pm.
Stop by, support the troop and pick up a beautiful plant for Mother’s Day. The boys in Troop 23 do a lot of volunteer hours in our local parks – even during the pandemic, they were working!

May 8, 2021Yesterday, Malliotakis Called for the Federal Government to Help NYC. Today, Commissioner Shea Asked for Help

NYPD Commissioner Shea was in Times Square today after three people were shot in Times Square, including a four-year old girl from Brooklyn who was in Manhattan shopping for a toy. (See story here)

Commissioner Shea spoke about repeat offenders and said the NYPD needs help.

Shea sounded frustrated because he has to deal with the problems caused by the adjustments in the law.

Around 7:15 pm tonight, there was an accident on 5th Avenue and Bay Ridge Avenue.
Initially, it was reported that people were hurt and someone was stuck in their car, but it just looks like a bad accident.
