Stopped to grab dinner last night on 3rd Avenue and 92nd Street. We saw Delia’s Lounge had many Curtis Sliwa signs set up outside.
Surprisingly, many people stopped to talk to the women outside of Delia’s Lounge.

She appears to have done a good job dividing the money throughout the district.
Assemblywoman Mathylde Frontus said she would be transparent with money and she willingly made this information available here – no one had to ask her for it.
When we asked Senator Andrew Gounardes for this type of list, his staff didn’t respond for several months. When we finally received a response, the staffer combined the two years and wrote:
– Funds for immigrant legal services, such as AAANY and NYLAG (No Amounts named)
– support for local domestic violence organizations (Which organizations – Why couldn’t the organizations be named?
– STEM funding for private and parochial schools in district (No schools named)

Earlier today a resident of the building body was found the alley between the buildings on 86th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue (next to the alley). Here
The police and Medical Examiner were seen at the scene. (Here)
This is so sad, but he’s with God now. RIP.

Tony Roni’s dentist’s secretary told him to try Pizza Wagon.
Peeta Peppa and Tony Roni came and tried Pizza Wagon. They didn’t do the Bay Ridge Pizza place justice. (Video)
I didn’t love their review. Tony Roni rated it a 3. Peeta gave it a 4. Both said the cheese was good cheese.

Glad to see Politics NY (formerly Kings County Politics) has the story here.
It’s an interesting story…..but also explains a lot about politics around here.
Something to note: District Leader, John Quaglione did not speak out for Avery, even though many other people did! As soon as Quaglione KNEW what happened to Avery, he should have spoken out!
We are glad that Avery didn’t just accept that nonsense and fought back in court.
In the article, the Brooklyn GOP was called out for lack of diversity. Both political parties in our area are lacking in diversity……..they should work on that.
This June, the Brooklyn Republican Party will have a chance to vote for CHANGE!
We love that Heidi Chan is running for female Republican District Leader with Bob Cassara! These two will bring fresh people and ideas to the party. It’s time!
Last week, we also saw that the Board of Elections refused to allow Heidi Chan-Sarantopoulos to use her married name or even an Americanized version of her. So the ballot will show her name as: Hei Man Chan. The Board of Elections rules need to be updated on rules about names on the ballot.

This is the sweetest sign and the nicest sentiment. These little plants mean so much to people who receive them and take care of them.
To the man who does this – thank you for being so sweet to Bay Ridge!
I had an amazing person in my life who always gave me plants and seeds. I grow a garden in his honor every year.
