It was reported on Citizen that a Ridgite had his his cellphone robbed on 99th and 3rd Avenue.
The 68th Precinct immediate arrested two males for a stronghold army (possibly a knife). More info including the police talking about transferring the men to the 68th Precinct. (Listen here)

Car Chase and Crash in Bay Ridge. Brian Fox Shared the Information
Around noon today, Brian Fox shared this video and he wrote:
“Dangerous car chase and crash a little while ago on 5th Avenue. Suspect resisting and disoriented eventually apprehended by multiple units near 83rd Street. This is an everyday occurrence in #BayRidge and it must end.”
Years ago, Justin Brannan was very open about incidents in Bay Ridge. Now he ignores it, never mentions it and nothing gets done to stop the same problem from happening repeatedly. I’m glad Brian Fox is interested and shares what’s happening. It makes people less fearful when they know what’s going on.
This will be another incident that doesn’t make it to Compstat and then someone will declare, “crime is down.” The Memorial Day incident didn’t make it to Compstat yet.

A 14-Year-Old Was Robbed on the Train – May 6th – No One Told Bay Ridge Until Today, June 3rd
These two men attacked a 14-year-old boy and fled the train at the 95th Street station.
These men stole the boy’s iphone, his $5.00 and they put him on the floor of the train. How awful!
This happened on May 6th. Why didn’t anyone tell us until now, Thursday, June 3rd?
I also was not able to find this crime listed on Compstat.
Parents in this community have a right to know this! They should have been told on May 6th or at the latest May 7th.
What would be nice is a heads-up that something has happened in #BayRidge
The 68th Precinct has Twitter (see here) – why can’t they put it up so the neighborhood knows and is alert to these men?
If the NCO’s have a relationship with the community, why haven’t any of them told us?
When a newspaper reports a crime from weeks ago, it means Capt. Tolson doesn’t care. @NYPD68Pct Captain Tolson doesn’t live here, but if this happened where he lived, he would want to know!
We have four politicians on social media. None of them shared this information. Is it that they don’t know or they don’t care?
This is why many residents have the Citizen App because the police and politicians aren’t communicating what people should know.
