Outdoor Dining is a Success in Bay Ridge

People love outdoor dining in Brooklyn. Update; And it started out as a good thing during the pandemic. But it actually made 3rd Avenue and 5th Avenue so dirty. The outdoor setups were not moved rats ate dinner under them. When people walked by, the rats would run and terrorize them.
Of course there are many people who enjoy indoor dining with the air conditioning, but the outdoor dining setups were busy tonight in Bay Ridge.
Kettle Black is on 3rd Avenue and 87th Street. Their tvs face the outdoor dining area.

July 14, 2021Josephine from Lenny’s Pizza was on Pizza Wars

Brooklyn’s own, Josephine Giordano of Lenny’s Pizza faced off against the host of Pizza Wars, Nicole Russell. Lenny’s Pizzaria is legendary because John Travolta went to Lenny’s in the movie, Saturday Night Fever.

Jo was herself – good natured and light-hearted. She had a great personality and would make a great cooking show regular.

They each had to make a deep dish pizza with sauce from Lenny’s. Jo doesn’t usually cook deep dish pizzas, so this was a first for her. She added a NY spin on the deep dish, which made it look a lot better than a regular deep dish pizza.

You can see a recap of the show here:
Although Nicole Russell won the challenge, the show was good and they had a good time too.

Nicole shared this picture on Instagram:
