The wreath on the door, the small grey table and the brick wall on the adjacent building is in the background of the photo.
There’s usually a line outside of Licali’s. You have to sign up early on weekends. If you intend to go there, (I believe) it’s still an all cash only business.

There is a job fair today and tomorrow in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The amphitheater is at 3052 W 21st Street in Brooklyn.

Horrible Crash into NYPD Car in Coney Island

In the video above, the black car appeared to be speeding and driving with flashing lights. The news revealed the car didn’t have plates and belonged to a 29-year-old man (See here)
At the intersection of Coney Island Avenue and Foster Avenue, the black car crashed into the NYPD’s car tonight after 8:00 pm. Then the car hit into a pole and knocked it down, while the NYPD’s car hits is pushed into a sedan from the force.

Three cars are damaged badly and several people were brought to the hospital. (See this video here)
Several people had to be taken to the hospital.

Bay Ridge Center Reopened and Received a Check
Hooray the Bay Ridge Center finally reopened yesterday! A few weeks ago, Brian Fox revealed that the Learning Bridges Program was put in this location and stopped the senior center from being re-opened. (See here)
On social media, The Bay Ridge Center showed $100,000 check from Senator Gounardes. (See here).
We haven’t seen other organizations thank him or show a big check. If he is giving out these checks why wouldn’t he share photos, like he did with this one?
Last year, Lee asked Gounardes how money was spent. His office took many weeks to respond and then sent a general list. The staffer (also a District Leader), Tori Kelly wrote “if you have any questions, let me know.” But Tori didn’t respond to my husband’s questions.
Assemblywoman Mathylde Frontus has been very transparent about how tax money is spent. (See here)

GayRidge Wonders Why There Are So Few Gay Pride Flags on Display by Businesses
Pride month was in June and some Bay Ridge businesses had the rainbow flag on display.
Gay Ridge’s Instagram found that only three businesses out of 431 businesses on 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge displayed a pride flag.
The businesses were Matter, Hom Restaurant and The Harp Bar.
More businesses hopefully will display the flag.
When you do, you are telling teens who are feeling like insiders that you are accepting who they are (which means a lot to a kid).

Black Widow Opens July 8th. Brooklyn Theater Has $7 Tickets All Day
The movie, Black Widow opens on Thursday, July 8th. The Alpine Movie Theater is having a special deal – $7.00 ticket price for all shows. Get tickets on their site.
Cate Shortland and Scarlett Johannson star in this action/adventure movie.
Alpine Movie Theater is on 68th Street and 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge. During the pandemic, the theater was closed, so the owner upgraded the theater, so it’s really nice and very clean.

** Update: Dog Reunited ** – Dog Found in Borough Park, Brooklyn – 55th St./11th Ave.
Update – Great News! The owners updated the chip information. When the dog was rescanned, they were able to call the owners.
This dog was found this morning on 11th Avenue and 55th Street in Brooklyn.
Why are there so many missing dogs lately?
The dog is now at the 66th Police Precinct at 5822 16 Avenue.
PROOF of Ownership required.
