Spirit Halloween Store Opened in Bay Ridge
Spirit Halloween Popup Store opened today on 515 – 86th Street in Bay Ridge. It’s in New York & Co’s old spot.
I love Halloween so I stopped in.
A lot of male teenagers were in the store deciding which costumes they wanted to get.
When I was leaving, I noticed most of them used the hand sanitizer that the store had near the door. When one of the guys walked past without using it, his friends reminded him to to use it.
It’s a nice store because it is very spacious, organized and clean. But they don’t have home decor like other Spirit stores….maybe that is coming later on.
It’s just a temporary pop-up until November.

Free and Low Cost Child Care in Brooklyn

At the Community Board 10 Meeting, a woman named Gabrielle spoke about her agency called PS Family NYC.
This agency is funded through the DOE. They help families find free and low cost.

Their services don’t cost anything.

The 68th Precinct Collected These
The 68th Precinct took all of these motorbikes.
When people in Brooklyn hear that the law is extended, they believe they believe they can get away with even more.
Above is an electric scooter on the Shore Road Bike path. This is nothing compared to when one of those mopeds gets on the bike path.
Councilman Justin Brannan voted for people to use these scooters . You can see his vote here.

DJ Ross the Boss 80’s Saturday in Brooklyn 9/25
DJ Ross the Boss is bringing back the 80’s in front of Lenny’s Pizzeria at 1969 86th Street from 5pm-9pm.
If you want to show your kids how crazy it got on 86th Street back in day – cruise by…..or get stuck in traffic and listen to good music and see everyone.
La Famiglia Cadillac Club and @verrazano.cadillac.club and everyone in Brooklyn is bringing their classic cars.

Kindness from Bay Ridge Neighbors
A Ridgite had out a small bail of hay with some pumpkins.
A neighbor quietly left the bicycle to enhance the Fall display and she thanked that person on social media.
That is just SO nice!
