Residents reported that catalytic converters were stolen on 71st Street and 12th Avenue as well as 71st Street and 14th Avenue on Thursday night.

October 30, 2025Flooding in Bay Ridge Today
Update:
The Westbound lanes of the Belt Parkway were closed at Excit 2 at 8:30 pm. Police cars blocked the lanes due to flooding.. The Eastbound lanes were fine.

There was a rainstorm in NYC today. Bay Ridge and some areas that are poorly maintained flooded. When politicians are more concerned about Citibikes than maintaining the neighborhood, you can see the effects look:
When elected leaders are doing the work for lobbyists, they aren’t helping you. When you see the streets covered with Citibikes, but no one cleaning out the storm drains, you know you need new leaders.
