Buy Turkey Dinner For a Family in Bay Ridge

I first read about the organization, Grandma’s Love in a local newspaper.

Theresa Monforte-Caraballo, the founder of Grandma’s Love told a newspaper that she wanted to make sure that children had Thanksgiving dinner because when they return to school, they discuss it with their classmates. Theresa is an angel because most people don’t think that deeply about strangers.

Lee met Theresa a few years ago at her workshop. Theresa talked with him about adding more book vending machines in hospitals. Afterwards Lee said to me, “I can see why you like her so much. She is an angel.”

Theresa has expanded her Angel Network over the years and I have seen many of you in Bay Ridge work with Theresa to make sure that children and families have things they need. (Matthew 25:40)

We all know the prices of groceries has increased a lot, so Theresa will probably have more families that need help this year. For a $40 donation, you can get Thanksgiving Dinner for a local family.

Recommendation For a Savory Sfogliatella From Pasta Fresca on 11th Avenue in Brooklyn

I have no idea what a savory sfogliatella from Pasta Fresca at 6406 – 11th Avenue tastes like. Burrata Babe said she heated it in the air fryer and it had an amazing crunch.

Sfogliatella is the outside shell used for an Italian pastry with cream. In the video, she says that there are sausage and peppers in the savory sfogliatella. She recommends that meatballs and other Italian foods be added to this shell.

Before I moved to Bay Ridge, I lived near Pasta Fresca and I went there all the time. The store and restaurant are run by a great family.

Gounardes & Brannan Stood on the Corner to Take a Picture Instead of Loading Food Pantries

Andrew Gounardes got out his podium and took photos today. SNAP is endangered of being cancelled.

Instead of taking action and loading the local pantries with food, Justin Brannan and Andrew Gounardes thought you wanted to see them in a picture with the other picture-taking politicians, Brad Lander (on Gounardes’ left) and Assemblyman Bobby Carroll (on Gounardes’ right) have nothing to do with this district, they must have been here for lunch.

If politicians are coming to Bay Ridge to take a photo, they should pull up with food for a pantry here!

These Democrats should be encouraging Democrats, like Chuck Schumer to settle this and keep SNAP flowing.

Bobby Carroll didn’t want to help load a food pantry here, instead he came for the picture to jab at Republicans:

Gounardes’ baby showed up again, so no real work is happening. It’s been three weeks since two high school students from Xaverian were hurt by a speeding car and no remedies have been applied to Narrows Avenue.

Imagine a female politician showed up with their baby to work.

Coney Island Gets Hit Again. Brannan Does Not Stand Up. Kayla Santosuosso is Silent

Councilman Justin Brannan knows most people don’t read the news, so he was silent about the Mayor choosing a developer who supported him. There is no pushback because all are onboard.

Kayla Santosuosso was also silent (as usual). She says she wants to represent, but there is nothing to take a photo of, so she won’t mention it. See article:

They are adding 500 units without parking. Don’t city planners know that many people in Brooklyn drive?

Another win for the EDC and developers.
