The advertisement was about the Holocaust. : (

It’s sad to see signs of hate spray-painted in Brooklyn.

Hopefully, there are cameras in the area and someone will be caught too.

Empty Bowls Sale is This Saturday, May 7th

The Empty Bowls Bay Ridge Project was started by artist to end hunger in our area. They donate the proceeds from the bowls to food pantry at the Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church.

Yes! They are some super nice people!  And the bowls they make are beautiful!

The sale is at 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church at 6753 4th Avenue on Saturday, May 7th. The bowls are $25 each.

Mother’s Day is the following day, so grab a bowl for your Mom.

I have purchased several of these bowls over the years. I’ve given all of them away because people who see them love them!

My advice is to arrive early, so you have the best selection of bowls! (See last years bowls here)

This is a popular event – last year there were people standing in the rain waiting to get in.
