June 15, 2022Factory Fire on 16th Avenue in Brooklyn
Around 12:00 pm today, there was a fire at 7902 16th Avenue in Brooklyn. This was a serious three-alarm fire.
Around 2:20 pm, it was announced on the Citizen app that four firefighters were hurt while putting out the fire. (See here)
Hopefully, all the brave firefighters will be alright.

June 14, 2022NYPD Arrested Man for Assault on 11/2
Three Asian men were harassed and then punched in front of 6418 – 20th Avenue in November 2022. The man sprayed an unknown substance at them.
Today, the NYPD hate crime arrested him in Brooklyn.
3 Asian male victims were talking to each other in Cantonese in front of 6418 20th Avenue when an individual mocked the way they spoke. When one of the victims confronted him, suspect punched him in the face then sprayed the three victims with an unknown substance. Suspect fled. pic.twitter.com/fzAsrrPTGD

June 13, 2022Abbate Showed Up At a CB 10 Meeting – Didn’t Mention He Voted To Gerrymander Brooklyn
Peter Abbate showed up at the June 13th Community Board 10 Meeting. (See video)
Abbate referred to redistricting as reapportionment, and said that some areas are now part of his district.
Peter Abbate did not tell the meeting that he voted in favor of gerrymandering in Brooklyn. The courts had to appoint a man to redo the district map because gerrymandering is unconstitutional.
