July 20, 2022Two Dozen Families Paid for Condos at 345 Ovington Avenue And Now Face Foreclosure

CBS New York has a heart-breaking story about twenty families who purchased condos at 345 Ovington Avenue in Bay Ridge years ago, but their money was never given to the bank by the developer.

The Post wrote that collectively these families gave the developer four million dollars and he never gave them ownership titles to their units . (See here)
The families won in court against the developer, but their homes were already put into a foreclosure proceeding with NYC.
Once NYC realized what happened, their home should have come out out of foreclosure so this situation can be handled appropriately.

Residents met with politicians today to see if there is anything they can do to help. (Source)
Here’s the families holding up their condo numbers. We feel so terrible for them.

This dog is from Staten Island. A few days after Boby went missing, people told the owners that they saw Boby near the entrance of the bridge. Now Boby has been sighted near Fort Hamilton High School.

Hopefully, Boby gets home soon.
