68th Pct Heroes Save Woman – 95th St. Station
Around 8:30 am Monday morning, two 68th Precinct Police officers were at the 95th Street station in Bay Ridge.
When a 25-year-old woman fell onto the tracks while having a medical issue, the officers jumped into action to save her. (WPIX has the story here and NY Post)

Brooklyn Kebob House Opened in Bay Ridge
I don’t know when the Brooklyn Kebob House opened but they opened on 5th Avenue on the corner near the Fortway. For years the sign was there, but I never saw this place open.

Taste of Lebanon Is No Longer Opening Here
In March 2019, Taste of Lebanon announced that they were opening in Bay Ridge. (See here) But they never did. Today, I saw the business for sale sign on the front of the store.
For years, the paper fell from the window. They had permits and must have done a lot of work to make it into a restaurant.
It was going to be a nice place: (See more pics here)
They are selling the business for $228,000 – see info

Accident on 88th and Ridge Blvd This Morning
This morning, a little after 8:00 am, there was an accident on 88th and Ridge Blvd in Bay Ridge. (See video)
This is a school zone, so if it happened a few minutes earlier, families walking to school could have been hurt. There are schools and daycares in this area.
From the other way this looks much worse:
An ambulance took someone away in this accident, so hopefully they are okay.
Someday, someone in office will care and do something about the 88th Street and 92nd Street intersections on Ridge Blvd. Right now, we have men who are more concerned with lobbyists.

The criminals are winning in NYC because the laws aren’t protecting the right people. Now the mayor has the police working individually to cover more area. But they need their partners for safety and backup. (See story)
