Man Sleeping In the Grass on the Highway Exit

When we drove up the Belt Parkway Exit Ramp into Bay Ridge, we saw the man in the grass.

We called 911 and they hardly took any information. We spoke to EMS who said they were on the way. They don’t even take the caller’s information anymore. I guess they get it automatically from the phone now.

God bless him with good health.

Save Visitation Academy – See Their Website!

At the beginning of February, it was announced that Visitation Academy would be closing.

Visitation has been part of the Bay Ridge community for many years. People want to save it, so they created the website: http://SaveVisitation.com

School leaders decided to sell the property, according to Councilman Justin Brannan. (See here)

The Save Visitation Website says that offers were made by a local school, but were not accepted. (See here)

Residents here want to save the building and hope that another Catholic institution sets up there.

The Asian District Was Created for Asian Leadership – Not a Rerun of Peter Abbate

Jimmy Li — Where are you?

We heard Jimmy Li was thinking of running for the NY Assembly.

Now he’s running for District Leader. NO WAY! The District Leader position is NOTHING.

STAND UP JIMMY LI AND RUN FOR OFFICE FOR YOUR COMMUNITY! The Asian District was created so Asians received representation. (District 49) Let’s go Jimmy!

We heard that Peter Abbate wants to run again.

Abbate’s time as an Assemblyman is over. When the Democrats came to draw district lines on Brookyn, Peter Abbate did nothing as communities were gerrymandered.

Remember this nonsense in 2022! Any politician who touches another politician’s sign should be fined. #Disrespect

Now Peter Abbate’s old district is gone.

Peter Abbate should be supporting Jimmy Li’s run!

The District Leaders for this area were leftover from before redistricting. Joe Bove decided to move on. Yet, Tori Kelly is trying to hold onto the position even though she isn’t good at being a district leader. Tori Kelly endorsed Waiyee Chan for NYC Council of for the new Asian District. Tori didn’t share that Waiyee Chan live in Queens!

Tori should step aside and let the people have the seat – just like Joe Bove did! We need Stephanie – Stephanie was amazing and represents the soul of everyone who loves Brooklyn!

I love the lights for Ramadan that have been hung in Bay Ridge.

I don’t celebrate Ramadan, but I like watching people in Bay Ridge have get-togethers during Ramadan and eventually celebrate EID! And I love the decorative lights!
