When at least four police are checking backyards in Dyker Heights, we should see politicians speaking to the people and giving them a heads up as to what is going on.
No state senator, assemblymember or council representative spoke to the community.

February 27, 2024Democrats Voted To Change the Congressional Maps – Gounardes Was Not Present For the Vote
Senator Andrew Gounardes was tweeting on X (formerly Twitter), but he wasn’t present to vote on the congressional maps. (See here) The vote shows he was excused. (See here)
The Democrats voted against the maps created by a bipartisan group and will now create their own maps. (Story here)

Andrew Gounardes and Justin Brannan can easily find the train station during election season, but are missing in action when people need help.
Part of being a leader is showing up and making sure the people receive help.
