A person jumped from the 92nd Street overpass and was hit by several cars in the Belt Parkway this morning.
Cars were forced to get off at the 92nd Street exit.
Some people were delayed in their commute from Staten Island to Brooklyn by two hours in traffic.
A body bag was seen in the area. RIP. He’s with God now.
Prayers for this person’s family and friends.

September 21, 2024More Garbage Cans Are Needed on Shore Road

Vicky’s photo
Vicky shared the photo of Shore Road above. Why can’t there be more garbage cans on Shore Road?
Donna D. shared this photo:

This area is particularly busy. Yes, people stop there and clean out there car sometimes and it fills the can. Don’t hate on a mother or father, who bring their family to Shore Road and take a few minutes to clean out their car. Why can’t there be more cans?

When you see more garbage around Bay Ridge, it’s because someone had the cans removed from the area. You don’t see empty cans and a dirty area!

September 20, 2024Scooter Riders Rob 88-Yr-Old Sunset Parker

On Sunday, September 15th, these two people robbed knocked an 88-year-old Sunset Park woman to the ground on 5th Avenue and 50th Street to rob her. Why didn’t the news tell us the next day, instead of waiting five days to tell us? (Story here)

September 19, 2024Another Sexual Assault at the 95th Street Station in Bay Ridge – Andrew Gounardes was Silent

On September 13th. September 13th. Yes, Friday, September 13th, a woman was touched at the 95th Street train station around 5:30 pm.

Not one politician thought you or I should know. Adam at Loudlabs let us know. (Info)
Councilman Justin Brannan is term-limited so he didn’t feel he had to tell you.
Why didn’t Senator Andrew Gounardes tell the community what happened last week. Gounardes is always writing nonsense on social media, but he does share important information. Andrew claims that he communicates with the NYPD, so why wouldn’t he warn women in Bay Ridge?
A few years ago, a woman was sexually assaulted in the bathroom at the 95th Street station, we asked Andrew Gounardes to take action, but he didn’t. (Info)
During the Summer, a man sexually assaulted a woman at the 95th Street station and Gounardes failed to share the info then as well.

The 68th Precinct is led by a female captain and she didn’t think anyone had the right to know this information, which is almost a week old.
The new captain thinks we need photos, rather than information:

This is the third time a woman has been attacked at the 95th Street station.
Remember to say Crime is Down.

September 19, 2024Century’s Location in Bay Ridge – Housing

Bay Ridge did you know that the mall plans were scrapped and now the City of Yes will allow them to make a lot more money with housing.
https://www.nyc.gov/site/hpd/services-and-information/tax-incentives-485-x.pageThe state provided developers with a tax exemption. (Remember when Andrew Gouanrdes was pushing for 421-a?) (Info)
Last Fall, the news told us that this property took out a 20 million dollar loan for this project. (Source)
Do you think affordable housing will be in this location? I think there will be a limited amount, but there will be a lot of fancy condos. (Property Listing)
This guy won’t tell us about an assault at the 95th Street station, yet he’s very interested in this property:
