The Fries at Butcher’s Burger – New Utrecht
Butcher’s Burger opened at 7501 New Utrecht Avenue – across the street from Pastosa a few weeks ago.
Everyone is talking about their smash burger, but no one mentioned their fries.
Their wavy fries were fantastic. They look like they are going to crunchy fries, but they were more like Roll n’ Roasters cottage fries. On a scale of 1-10 they were a 10.
Lee loved their smash burger and tater tots.
The place is new, so it’s clean. The staff is upbeat and helpful.
After ordering the food to go, it took about 10-12 minutes.
Costs: The single smashburger is $6.99. The fries are $4.00 and the tater tots are $4.99 ($1.00 more if you want melted cheese)
Lee’s only complaint was that they should have opened at the old KFC location on 5th Avenue and 92nd Street because they would get a lot more customers (and Lee really liked their smashburger).

October 30, 202454-Year-Old Man Killed in Coney Island
Last night around 11:30 pm, a 54-year-old man was stabbed in the back and thigh on the subway platform in Coney Island Tuesday night. (News)
Strangely, the shot man was brought to NYU Langone Hospital. (Source) why wasn’t he brought to the hospital in Coney Island?
The killer has not been arrested. (Source)
There was a 21% increase in transit crime in the 60th Precinct this year and Councilman Justin Brannan isn’t doing anything because he doesn’t live in Coney Island. “There were 24 reported incidents in Coney Island and 16 occurred at or around the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station.”

Around 9:00 pm, a white sedan hit a light pole in Bay Ridge.
Thankfully, the driver and the passenger are okay. And no one was on the street at the time.
The pole is leaning and the traffic light is no longer working correctly.
