Bay Thai Restaurant at 6735 3 Avenue closed. They were doing delivery and pick up only in October. A for rent sign is in the window.
This restaurant was there for many years and will be missed in Bay Ridge!
The staff said they were moving to Jersey City.

October 31, 2024Anti-Palestinian Attack in Brooklyn – Why Did the Police Wait So Long to Share the Information?
On Friday, October 25th at 11:57 om, a 32-year-old woman and 31-year-old man were punched in the face multiple times. (Source) The four attackers said Palestinian slurs as they hit the couple. This happened on the Flatbush Avenue Extension near Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn. This area is Brooklyn Commons – it used to be called Metrotech.
The woman has a serious eye injury. The man had a gash on his face. They were taken to Methodist Hospital. (Source)

Brown Dog Struck on the Belt Parkway is Home
A brown dog was hit on the Belt Pkwy this morning. The dog ran to Bay Ridge Avenue. Later the dog was at Cannonball Park. The dog is back home with her owner.

DiFara’s Pizza – Sold Frozen in Grocery Stores
Maggie announced today that DiFara pizza was available at stores.
Shoprite in New Jersey has been selling their pizza since the beginning of the year. Someone reviewed it (here) In September, someone cooked it and posted a review. (See here)

Captain Dasaro at the 68th Precinct asked that anyone who sees someone driving dangerously or recklessly to call 911.
1) Block Party on 82nd Street’s between Colonial and Narrows
2) Trick-or-Treat at Vito’s at 7711 Ridge Blvd from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
3) 74th Street Block Party (between 5th and 6th Avenues) $15 a family 3:00 – 8:00 pm.

5) Nothing Hurts Tattoo Parlor at 306 – 93rd Street (off 3rd Avenue) is giving out candy and they will have piñatas at 6:30 pm in front of their shop. After the pinatas, they will hold a Halloween costume contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place best costumes.
6) Fort Hamilton Parkway from Bay Ridge Avenue to 70th Street is closed tomorrow for a Halloween celebration. 2:00 – 6:00 pm.
