Café Rendez Vous is a new coffee shop and eatery at 7221 – 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge.
The place looks like a nice place for people to meet for coffee. (See their instagram)

December 27, 2024Dyker Heights Pharmacy Robbed on Dec. 20th. News Didn’t Report About It Until Dec. 27th
Two thieves broke into Dyker Heights Pharmacy at 8016 – 13th Avenue at 6:00 am. The thieves took $2000 in narcotics.
They drove away in a gray Infinity sedan.
These thieves are robbing pharmacies in Queens as well. (See here)
The local newspaper didn’t write about it. It took a week for Brooklyn 12 News to report about. (See here)
Senator Andrew Gounardes has been tweeting silly things online all week and never mentioned this small business being robbed early in the morning or gave a warning to other small pharmacies that this is happening.

December 27, 2024Brooklyn Parents Arrested in PA for Leaving Their Daughter in the Car While They Gambled
A six-year-old girl was left in the car as her parents, To Yeung and Chunyahn Wang went to a casino in Pennsylvania to gamble. (Source) Both parents are 44-years old, so they know better!
The girl was in the car for 45 minutes outside of Parx Casino in Bensalem. (Source) The temperatures was 29 degrees. (Source) The car was not running for the heat to be on.
The child is okay and is staying with relatives. (Source)
The parents were arrested. (Source) “Wang and Yeung were arraigned before District Judge Joseph Falcone on Monday. They were released after posting $3,000 bail each.” (Source) They were each charged with child endangerment.

December 26, 2024RIP Robbie Miller – Social Worker Murdered Outside Brooklyn Homeless Shelter
Robbie Miller was a social worker at a homeless shelter at 1691 New York Avenue in Brooklyn.
Tonight, a man fatally stabbed Robbie in his neck and abdomen. (Info) He was only 35-years-old.

The killer ran away and has not been caught. Where was the security from the homeless shelter?

December 26, 2024Vigil for the Woman Murdered on the F Train Today at 4:00 pm – Stillwell Avenue Train Station
Today at 4:00 pm, there is a vigil at the Stillwell Avenue Train Station in Coney Island. for the woman murdered on the F train.
I didn’t see any infomation about this in Brooklyn, it was announced (here).
The religious leaders got on their knees for serious prayer on the dirty subway platform. They prayed for the deceased woman, safety and peace.
Then they prayed for the subway train stations and subway travelers:

The woman’s identity still is not known, but the news said they are doing DNA testing. The news also said she was a homeless woman (some papers printed that on Sunday). (Source)
Councilman Justin Brannan is term-limited so he didn’t show. If he wasn’t term-limited, he would have put out a message on Sunday and held a service for the deceased woman on Monday afternoon or evening.

December 26, 2024Recycle Your Tree & Wreath at Owl’s Head Park
Bring your Christmas tree to Owl’s Head Park to be recycled. You can leave it by the sign.
They will have Mulchfest at Owls Head Park on January 11th and 12th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
At Mulchfest, they give out small bags so you can take home the mulch from your tree (Some NYC Departments waste money!)
You can also put your bare tree out next to the garbage on your regular recycling day and the sanitation workers will take it away.

Around 11:00 pm on Christmas night, a car was on fire on 5th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway – outside of Chase Bank.
