Both front bumper grills were stolen from this Mercedes SUV. The vehicle was parked on 99th Street and 3rd Avenue.
We need more patrols around Bay Ridge.

GoFundMe for 3rd Ave. Merchant – Cue Boutique
Lynn, the owner of Cue Boutique on 3rd Avenue and 92nd Street had a stroke at the end of August. She then had emergency brain surgery and now she is unable to work. A GoFundMe was created (here) to assist Lynn.

Justin Brannan Fear Mongering & Fundraiser
Thank God for term limits on NYC Council members! Now Brannan is on his way fear mongering everyone on his friend’s list over Trump. If Brannan became Comptroller, REBNY would be happy.
The NYC Comptroaller should have a math finance background – not be a guy “winging it.” Brannan sees Brad Lander does not have a finance background and is able to play on social media all day.
Brannan may think he is doing a good job, but this community is tired of the nonsense rhetoric. Look at the mess Brannan made at Angel Guardian Home (three schools on one block). (Info here) Branna is also doing the same on Ovington Avenue (a new high school on a block with three existing schools. (Info)
When you visit Brannan’s website, you can understand why politicians aren’t working for residents.
While Justin Brannan was head of the Finance Committee, we saw he didn’t do a good job. Schools received money and then some were defunded and teachers had to be transferred to other schools. (See here and here)
Justin Brannan was involved in (this mess) too. We are all tired of lobbyists winning in Bay Ridge!

Shots Fired on Parrot Place Last Night -Bay Ridge
At 10:45 pm last night someone fired a gun that shot a bullet through an apartment at 124 Parrot Place in Bay Ridge.

Citizen shows that a man baricaded himself on a fire escape at 124 Parrot Place. (Source) The 68th Precinct police were able to get the man off the fire escape and taken into custody.

Tanoreen Restaurant is Opening in Dumbo
Congratulations to Tanoreen for opening up another Tanoreen Restaurant in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
Starting next weekend you can find Tanoreen on the 5th floor rooftop of the Timeout Market 55 Water Street in Brooklyn. This location is going to have great views of the waterfront. (See their menu)

This car parked on Shore Road between Oliver and 92nd Street had its tires stolen. We feel terrible for the owner, who had to walk up to their car looking like this.

Walgreens on 95th Street – Freezers Are Empty
You asked me what was going on with Walgreens freezers. I asked the staff and they said it was just low stock. Nothing was wrong with their freezers, but they are almost empty.
Anthony shared that even the Ivory soap is locked up. So maybe that is why the freezers are not being stocked?

Community Board 10 Meeting Monday, November 18th – No Real Topics
Here’s what Community Board 10’s meeting is about:
1) Lamoza Cafe has been 3rd Avenue and 77th Street for more than 10 years and now they applied for a wine, beer and cider license.
2) Wine, beer and cider license for Sabor de Colombia 2 at 7026 – 3rd Avenue.
3) The elevator for the 95th Street is was expected to be finished this month.
4) Open dining application for Istanbul restaurant on 5th Avenue and 80th Street.
5) Landmarking in Bay Ridge – someone at the landmarking office told me there was a problem with landmarking Visitation. Will they talk about that? I doubt it.
6) Green infrastructure project – info
**No one wants to talk about the electric bikes on the sidewalks and going through red lights. How do our neighbors keep ignoring this problem?
No one on CB 10 wants to talk about the homeless shelter or the new school. How is it possible that not one person wants to talk about this topic?

Fireworks Started Fire on Benson Ave.
Fireworks were being set off on Benson Avenue between Bay 29th and Bay Parkway early this morning. (Firefighters extinguishing the fire)
The remains of the fireworks landed on the garbage, which started a fire that burned the tree and a car.
Imagine walking out to your car and seeing it burnt like this. :(
This is why many people don’t like fireworks in Brooklyn!
