April 15, 2016Bay Ridge Prep is Expanding to 429 – 89th Street
Bay Ridge Prep is a private school located at 8101 Ridge Blvd in Bay Ridge. The school has students from K-12 and an average class size of 15 students per class. The current tuition is $17K for Kindergarten to $27K for grade 12. If your child has special needs, costs increase (see tuition here).
Bay Ridge Prep is planning to build a upper level school on 89th Street and 4th Avenue. What’s there now? Click here to see. It’s an auto repair shop which is right next to the Dept of Ed building/Pre-K school. They have outgrown their old facilities and in the video they say they have a 400 student waiting list. Currently, the school claims they send students out of the building to experience science, but their new building will allow them to have those experiences in the school. This six story building which will house a full-size gym and performing arts center needs at least 5 million – the school has already raised half that.
The new plan includes a six story building with a pool on the roof. They are saying that the pool will be open to the community as well.
This drawing shows their small school at 8101 Ridge Blvd in Bay Ridge and the new massive six story building they intend to put up at 429 – 89th Street.
They are imagining their new school:
It looks like a good plan. Starbucks on 92nd Street should think of expanding as these students love to get Starbucks!

April 2, 2016Fallen Political Star – Nicole Malliotakis Received Flowers Because Even Florida Didn’t Want Rubio to be President
Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis has lost a lot of support since the election. Remember the Republican Party chose Dan Donovan to replace Grimm when Nicole was interested in that position.
Update: The New York City Republicans made a video about Assemblywoman Malliotakis. The comments under the video show that people are on to her and how little she has done. If you think she has done a lot, go look and see what legislation she actually wrote and pasted.
Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis received a funeral arrangement from Trump allies Michael Caputo and John Haggerty sent flowers at the end of Marco Rubio’s campaign. C’mon Malliotakis, take some time and get to know someone because you agree to support them as they run for the position of president. Even Rubio’s home state of Florida didn’t want him. Rubio’s speeches and his nonsense about his opponent’s hands was just creepy.
I thought it was just an Internet meme until I saw the card: “Nicole, Our Deepest Condolences on Your Loss of Marco. Hope you are doing okay.” Why didn’t Nicole share a picture of it and let Paula Katinas reprint a press release about it?
The flower arrangement also has Beloved Candidate spelled out on it.
Update: On April 7th, Nicole Malliotakis presented John Kasich at the Bay Ridge Manor so any candidate will do.
