October 17, 2018Alyssa Milano Shuns Marty Golden for Voting Against the Fair Pay Act
Celebrity, Alyssa Milano calls out Senator Marty Golden for voting against the Fair Pay Act. Milano, a well known activist for women and creator of the #MeToo movement, publically endorsed Andrew Gounardes for his support towards women.
Andrew Gounardes was glad to receive the celebrity endorsement. Alyssa Milano even cited Gounardes’s campaign website and Gounardes’ hashtag #22OughtaBeBlue in her tweet. Milano’s tweet fired up the community even more because now everyone is calling out Marty Golden for his nonsense!
Alyssa Milano encouraged Andrew Gounardes to stop by and see her Aunt Sissy in Brooklyn!
I guarantee that local papers will not run this story until Friday, if they run it at all.

October 16, 2018Republicans in Bay Ridge
Journalist, Kadia Goba got the bottom of the Proud Boys event at the Manhattan Republican Club. Ian Reilly, the Chairman who invited Gavin McInnes to the Republican Club works for Senator Golden.
Ian Reilly said of McInnes “He is part of the right. We promote people and ideas of all kinds from the right.”

- Marty Golden was silent. He didn’t even speak out against the violence of the Proud Boys (no Antifa wasn’t innocent in this, but violence is not the answer – the police should have been called to handle Antifa). Golden has stopped being a leader in community. It appears that Golden has a lot of staff who aren’t from Brooklyn and they appear to represent different ideals.
- Nicole Malliotakis was silent. She isn’t strong enough to speak out against Senator Golden.
- Dan Donovan came out against the Proud Boys event.
- Marc Molinaro whose running for governor came out against the Proud Boys event. “I’m embarrassed these individuals were invited to speak,” Molinaro said.
Last May, some of the Republicans in Bay Ridge were hosting Sebastian Gorka. Gorka had spoken out against Islam. Further, he wore the badge of a group of World War II Nazi collaborators during an inaugural ball for President Trump. Gorka was let go from the Trump administration in 2017. The Republicans would not cancel the speakers. No Republican spoke out for the Republican Committee of Kings County. After the event was cancelled, a few Republicans complained about Freedom of Speech on Facebook. (Yeah take that hate elsewhere).
They certainly didn’t need Gorka, but the Muslim teens in our area needed to see that residents would speak up when people weren’t doing the right thing for this community…..because no matter what political party you are part of, you should have some loyalty to your Bay Ridge community and neighbors.
The event was cancelled because this community spoke up for residents here. We aren’t the type of community to host this type of speaker. The Dyker Beach Club cancelled after people called and complained.
We were disappointed to see Ted Ghorra’s name on the invitation. Ghorra never spoke out about the invitation, even though it was widely shared in the community.

The two extremes Alt Left and Right aren’t good for communities like ours. Why? They are just too extreme. There’s more important things in life than this nonsense of hurting other people.

October 15, 2018Why Doesn’t Paula Katinas Want Bay Ridge to Know About Steve Saperstein?
Paula Katinas sat in the front row of the Dyker Heights Civic Association Debate. Yet, Katina’s retelling of the debate was quite different from what happened, particularly where it concerns Steve Saperstein.
Did Paula Katinas think Steve Saperstein and/or his team were playing politics at the debate? It was obvious that they did.
Paula Katinas shared online:
Katina’s article left out that Joel from Seagate asked a question. Joel from Seagate came to a very poorly advertised debate that even I didn’t know about until right before it happened. Joel came to the debate to ask Dr. Mathylde a question about Louis Farrakhan. Dr. Frontus was so poised in answering his question. She knew and everyone else knew it was a planted question as the man sitting next to Joel was wearing a Steve Saperstein shirt – seen here.

After Dr. Frontus answered the question stating she didn’t know the man, Steve interjected that he me the man who asked the question (Really Steve, we couldn’t figure that at). Saperstein should have been embarrassed that his team went low in front of everyone, while Dr. Frontus was professional and kept to the discussion on the communities’ needs. Making up nonsense about his opponent shows he is just interested in playing politics.
Did the Brooklyn Reporter leave out the truth because they are trying to control our election? Or is it Paula Katinas that is trying to control the election? Whose pulling Katinas strings that an experience political reporter would leave out key information like that? Last week, we saw Paula Katinas incorrectly tell us about a NEW tax bill Malliotakis introduced in the NY Assembly – when I asked for the bill number Katinas and Malliotakis were silent.
We should be able to have #TruthInTheNews in Bay Ridge.

October 14, 2018The 68th Precinct Captured Him!
Bay Ridge resident, 28-year-old, Matthew Wohlfahr was arrested.
Wohlfahr asked young girls for directions and then exposed himself to them when they answered him. The first incident happened at 92nd St. and Ridge Boulevard. The second incident happened at Colonial Road and 78th Street.
The MTA said he was a probationary bus driver and he has been taken out of service without pay.
Credit should be given to the sharp kids who noticed he was wearing MTA gear.
The paper stated that Wohlfahr was charged with grand larceny, endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness.

In September, a man in his 20’s was stealing from a home around 79th Street and 5th Avenue. And the news is telling us about it today?!
What the video doens’t show is that my Bay Ridge neighbor went after him and took back her stuff. Go Brooklyn!!
