He said they helped save one woman $4K. Later we saw it was because she was a senior and is entitled to certain deductions. We only qualify for the BASIC Star.

March 11, 2019Deuce and Blue Bloods is Filming in Bay Ridge – March 11th
What is filming in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn on Monday, March 11, 2019?
Deuce is filming here – Deuce is made by Penny Lane Productions. On Ridge Boulevard and 81st Street there were these pink signs all over.
But……
Blue Bloods Season 3 is also filming in Bay Ridge on Monday. (The house they use is at 8070 Harbor View Terrace – corner of 82nd Street)
While the neighborhood is excited to see the production company filming around there areas, the residents who live there aren’t because it’s so hard to park.
Why can’t the residents be offered parking elsewhere so they don’t have to be put out during the filming? NYC or the production company should give them a parking spot (like rent St. Anselm’s parking lot overnight) or provide residents with vouchers to use at Century’s Parking. It would be a nice gesture.
Or cancel alternate side in the neighborhood to help out those residents who live on blocks which are being closed off. That could be done when the filming permit is secured.
Blue Bloods will also be filming at:
St. Patrick’s Church on 4th Avenue and 95th Street is being used again for the Blue Bloods taping. In the bulletin, they put that mass will be in the auditorium because they are filming.

March 10, 2019Women Died on the Street in Dyker Heights- RIP
A woman was found dead between two parked cars this morning on Dyker place and 82nd Street – this is right near the highway and it’s a very quiet area.
The woman was in her 50’s. Someone asked if she lived here and Councilman Brannan responded:
The cause of her death is not known yet, but there was no trauma to the body – see video
RIP. Prayers for her family who had to find out she died like that. Hopefully, she passed quickly because God needed her for a celebration in Heaven today.

The FDNY visited the construction site next to Vitale – Gambino Orthopedics – NYU Langone Medical Center on 3rd Avenue and the corner of 97th Street (where Pippins used to be).
