On Saturday, March 30th from 11-2 pm, Fort Hamilton High School’s Reach Out Program presents Hero-Palooza 2019 in the Fort Hamilton HS Girls Gym.
Tickets are $7

Great fun activities for ages 3 – 10 years old!
There will be games, prizes, arts and crafts, a Marvel movie, and more!

Come dressed as your favorite superhero!
Prizes for kids wearing their own original hero costumes!

Lordz of Brooklyn + Espresso Pizza

On my first day living in Bay Ridge, we grabbed Espresso Pizza while we were painting…..and I wondered why I never heard of this place before.

It’s classic pizza that you ate when you were a kid – so good.

Man Wanted for Assault in Bay Ridge – Why Does it Take a Week for the NYPD to Tell the Community?

This man assaulted a young woman in Bay Ridge on 86th Street on March 5th. Story here
The NYPD let us know though a reporter on March 13th. The 68th Precinct has not even shared this on their social media account. Several officers have access to that account.
Why does it take them so long to share this infomation?

Reminding Jerry Kassar to Return the NRA’s Money

Jerry Kassar became the head of the New York State Conservative Party.
As the leader of the Brooklyn Conservative Party, he told me that he did not accept money from the NRA.
Mike Long, the previous head of the NYS Conservative Party accepted money from the NRA. Tonight I reminded Jerry to return the money to the NRA.
I like guns, but I don’t support the NRA because I believe they hold the answer to the gun problem. The NRA won’t give into any concessions because they are afraid that will mean more concessions.
Since the NYS Conservative Party’s office is in Bay Ridge, Kassar should return the NRA’s money….if not, he will be a sweetheart of the NRA.
I will update this when Kassar responds.

Immigration Town Hall in Brooklyn 3/19

It’s terrible that a meeting named “Immigration Town Hall” is needed. I’m glad politicians are joining together and supporting immigrants.
If you are an immigrant in poor standing, woukdn’t it be kind of dangerous to go to a meeting like this? They should share the video of the meeting online and the printed materials as well.
