1550 Bay Ridge Avenue – Fight
LoudlabsNYC wrote: BENSONHURST, Brooklyn – Around 10:30 pm Friday, 62nd Precinct units responded to a fight at 1550 Bay Ridge Ave where the Salvadoran restaurant “Puerta Del Sol”, which serves alcohol, is located. Upon arrival, they found a bleeding bar patron on the ground in front of the restaurant. They rushed an ambulance to the scene. They also arrested two perps regarding an assault. A witness stated “they beat him up a man they beat him up” as well as police and EMS being harassed by a drug dealer. The victim was transported to an area hospital. Unknown if alcohol was a factor in the altercation.

A few years ago, one of my neighbors told me about how excited she was to attend the Senior Prom in Dyker Heights.
My neighbor wasn’t a teenager attending high school, but rather a senior citizen who was looking forward to getting dressed up, going out for a nice evening and dancing with her friends.
This is one of the nice thing that NIA, Peter Abbate and Justin Brannan do for the Seniors in our community each Spring.
