When Does Senator Gounardes Work For Bay Ridge?

Today, there was a rally in Bay Ridge against the Nazis (See here) and a walk over the bridge to let Jews know that anti-Semitic acts won’t be tolerated here.

Assemblywoman Frontus joined residents in Bay Ridge and Councilman Brannan joined the march over the bridge.  Gounardes and Malliotakis were not seen at either.

Senator Gounardes’ office was closed on Friday for  staff training. Was it only open one day in the past two weeks?

Gounardes’ office was closed from Monday, December 23rd to Wednesday, January 1st.

Before that, Gounardes was away for his honeymoon. See here

At the end of November and beginning of December,  Gounardes was upstate (see here) touring schools and fire departments in Buffalo. (See here)  Does that senator want Andrew Gounardes to make some bills to pad some paychecks up there?

Yep, that’s  a lot of time that Senator Gounardes was not here. Of course he needs some time off, but his office should be open and he should be present after vacation!

Maybe that’s why Gounardes  still hasn’t hung a banner outside of his office?

Ironically, Gounardes was asked about that today:

Property tax reform doesn’t look like it will be a priority to Senator Gounardes this year. Gounardes is STILL WAITING FOR MAYOR de BLASIO to do something.

Andrew Gounardes has the ability to write a bill to freeze our taxes, but refuses to do it.

Gounardes is having a fundraiser this week….I bet he will be present for that!

Is it possible for Bay Ridge to get a senator who actually cares about Bay Ridge and wants to help the people here?

More Cars Keyed on Shore Road in Bay Ridge

Residents were talking about the four cars that were just keyed on the park side of Shore Road.

No tire punctures this time.

The cars appear to be randomly chosen.

Bay Ridge Stands Against Nazis

A Bay Ridge resident held the above message on her sign at the rally against white nationalism in Bay Ridge this afternoon.  See here. Great sign neighbor!

Play this video:

See video of the rally here.

See more pictures of the rally:  here, here, here and here.

More stickers for the white nationalist group were seen today in Bay Ridge and removed. See pictures here

Jennifer shared these pictures taken this afternoon on 86th Street:

Some people have created a theory that “this is a hoax orchestrated by the Democrats” to divert attention away from the Anti-semitic attacks on Jews that is happening in Brooklyn. The white nationalist group bragged about tagging Brooklyn with “promotional material.” See here and here (the picture on the center bottom has Bklyn locations).

Around 12:00 pm today, a 42-year-old man got out of his car and was thinking of jumping. The police showed up, talked with him and then the man was taken to the hospital.

The man told police he was upset over custody of his kids.   See Story

Hopefully, the man realizes that God has bigger plans for him.

Nazis Sign On The Belt Parkway

The sign above below was seen hanging over the Belt Parkway from the 80th Street pedestrian overpass on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

Years ago, my father-in-law, uncles and many Americas kicked the Nazis butts for America. How dare these people hang these signs in Brooklyn!

Dear Nazis – hang the banner in your mama’s basement!  We don’t need your hate in Brooklyn because you think it is free speech.

Notice that their sign makes people think the group is supporting labor! But Patriot Front is a white supremacist group.

This week, a supporter of the group “Patriot Front” stuck a sign on 86th Street, but the group has bragged about placing promotionnal material in Brooklyn. See here and here (click on the bottom center picture to see Bklyn locations).

There is a demonstration in Bay Ridge tomorrow to let the neo-nazi’s that Bay Ridge is not a place for their hate. See here

BTW, if you are thinking, “well this is free speech.”  No, it’s not legal to hang your bed sheets on the overpass or people would be doing it every day.  This is just another person who thinks they are above the law.
