January 7, 2020When Your Neighbor Shoots a Gun Out the Window
Late last night a man took a gun and fired out his window….yes here…on 82nd Street and 13th Avenue.
I don’t know why, but everyone in this community has a right to know about this and know why someone is shooting their gun out a window! It’s not private information when someone fires a gun.
I heard that the man turned himself in, but I am not sure about that either.
The whole day, no politicians or police shared anything about the violence. Yet, residents in Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge left me messages because they wanted their neighbors to know what was going on. There’s more to this story, but I can’t confirm it. We’re just lucky no one was murdered here.
Tonight, Andrew Gounardes’ supporter told me how much Andrew cares about the topic of gun violence and he voted in favor of some bills.
Why would Gounardes be silent about violence in his own neighborhood? There isn’t any mention about it on his Facebook or Twitter pages. Yet, he leaped to tell everyone about the painted bike lanes. :(
Years ago, a gun was fired in Dyker Heights (a kid took his father’s gun and shot at his sister). Everyone was silent then too.

Alejandra Guzman is a 16 year old teen who is missing from Sunset Park Brooklyn.
Alejandra was last seen Friday, January 3rd leaving her home on 56th Street and 6th Avenue.
Alejandra is 4-foot-11-inches and 100 pounds. She has brown eyes.

January 6, 2020Pig Pig Cafe Bubble Tea Shop Opened on 3rd Avenue
Pig Pig Cafe, a bubble tea shop opened at 7115 – 3rd Avenue, where Audrey’s Concerto used to be.
The store windows are loaded with cute stuffed pigs. And there are pigs throughout the store as well.
Their menu includes milk teas and fruity teas – cold teas and hot teas.
For their grand opening, they are doing a Buy One Get One deal.
Today, Pig Pig Cafe was visited by bubble tea lovers – a lot of preteens and teens were enjoying bubble tea!
