September 18, 2020Business Owner Confronts Senator Gounardes
A business owner on Fort Hamilton Parkway contacted Senator Andrew Gounardes when her business was broken into. She did not hear back from Senator Gounardes.
The business owners approached Andrew Gounardes in the park and he wasn’t apologetic for not responding. He didn’t seem to care.
Playing politics, rather than helping all people in the district when they call is a regular theme for Andrew and the senator before him as well.
Gounardes has a large staff and communication from his office is poor. My husband asked Gounardes for a breakdown of how tax money was spent in our district. Gounardes office didn’t reply and when I discussed it on social media weeks later, his chief-of-staff sent a very incomplete list – no names of organizations or schools that received money (just the word schools).

September 18, 2020Crash on Colonial Road This Morning
Two cars with a combined 60 traffic violations, 19 of them for speeding, crash on Colonial Road.
Who could’ve predicted this?

This is a sign to Senator Andrew Gounardes that speed cameras don’t work.
– School Zone Speed Camera repeat offenders were ticketed over and over – sometimes at the same street. (See Vehicle 1’s Report Here)
The other vehicle has four speed zone speed camera tickets for the same location – over years….(See here)
There’s nothing to stop people who just don’t care.

September 18, 2020Was There a Drug Raid on 79th Street in Dyker Heights?
Update: Tonight 9/24/20, Captain Tolson of the 68th Precinct confirmed that this was a drug bust by the FBI. 68th Precinct Officers participated, but they didn’t head the project so they didn’t share it on Twitter.
Neither Senator Gouanardes or Councilman Brannan would answer people when they asked about this incident. We have no leaders speaking for the community.
There was a lot of action on 79th Street between 13th & 14th Avenues last night. (Shared by many)
People had been smelling drugs and reporting it for awhile. Finally, the FBI in bullet-proof vests came in unmarked cars and kicked the in door.
Onlookers said that three people were arrested. And not one politician updated the neighborhood on what happened because there is no one speaking for this community.
Saw this online as well.
I know there was a cocaine drug bust in Brooklyn and I am wondering if that triggered the raid or if something locally happened for them to take action. See article
Residents have named some other locations where drugs are and they hope that the law enforcement intervenes.

September 18, 2020Andrew Gounardes – Press Release Politics
IT’S ELECTION SEASON! Look at these stories:
ANDREW GOUNARDES WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE HE IS GOING TO SAVE CENTURY’S. LOL.
How would they save a store that says they declared bankruptcy? I could see if the politicians did something to help the store in July when rumors were all over Facebook about the store closing. But it’s September and they declared bankruptcy after being denied a large payment from insurance. (See here)
Maybe Senator Gounardes and Justin Brannan don’t understand bankrupcy. Gounardes should – he’s an attorney.
In a month, or at least by election time, we will know the truth if these two politicians are playing politics or if they are the real deal.
My guess is it’s just politics to get in the paper.
