Buonasera Pizza is open on 66th Street and 11th Avenue.
The pizza shop is on the corner (you can see the door is open in the top picture). The owner was friendly and weloming!

Here’s their menu:
Buonasera Ristorante is not open yet. They are almost done setting up. The place looks nice – all places look great when they are new!
This restaurant replaced La Sorrentina.

July 2021 Update
Restaurant Week is from July 19th – August 22nd. Restaurants will have $21 lunch and $39 dinner specials.
If you register on their site and pay with Mastercard, on your next statement you will receive $10 off (up to $50)
These restaurants in our area will be participating:
1) Amuni Restaurant 7217 – 3rd Avenue – $20.21 for any panini with a rice ball, dessert and a glass of wine or beer! Available Tuesday-Friday 11am-4pm dine in only.
2) Hunter’s Steak and Ale House 9404 – 4th Avenue 718-238-8899

Zgheib Sayad PC, Vaccine Injury Attorney is on 3rd Avenue
One Saturday, I passed by this storefront and I saw a woman cleaning the front window.
I noticed that the sign was removed from the office. It used to be Cliffco Mortgage Bankers. (See below)
Then I saw the sign for Zgheib Sayad, Vaccine Injury Attorneys.
Their firm started in White Plains. See their website: https://www.vaccinelawyers.com/
They are seeking a paralegal for their office. See here.

New Toy Store in Bay Ridge
Millential Girl was a clothing store at 451 – 87th Street. It was near the 87th entrance of Century’s.
The owner of Millennial Girl announced that his store has become a toy store.
He shared this photo as he is stocking the store.
A toy store is a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Many Seem Unfazed by This “Group of Criminals” in Manhattan

Zeinah Gifts and Home Decor Opened in Bay Ridge
Zeinah Gifts and Home Decor opened at 508 Ovington Avenue. If you are having a hard time placing it, it’s across the street from the old pool hall (Hall of Fame Billards).
The store is also called Zina Gift and Home Decor.
When I passed this shop, it had banners out for the grand opening. The street was very busy and I wasn’t able to stop and run in.
The owners shared pictures of the inside of the shop here when she set up in August.
Congratulations to the owners!
This used to be a Jackson Hewitt Tax Prep place.
