Congresswoman Malliotakis is Outraged Over the Verrazzano Bridge Toll Hike
UPDATE: The Verrazzano Bridge toll was raised – story here.
Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis shared that the MTA will be voting for a Verrazzano Bridge toll increase EVEN AFTER NY received $88 billion in federal aid and NY is expected to receive 50 Billion more.

Malliotakis wants Cuomo to use some of these funds instead of raising the price of the toll.
No other politicians have spoken about the hike – even though it’s been in the news for awhile.
Residents in Malliotakis’ district feel she doesn’t represent NY11 and that Malliotakis is playing politics because she hasn’t done anything about the problems with the MTA.
Nicole Malliotakis voted against $30B to fund public transportation.

This just shows how #NicolesNonsense hurts #ny11.

Collision at Exit 1
Around 1:30 pm today, there was a collision near Exit 1. Two trucks pull the cars out of the way. See video here

Mr. Nick at The Bay Ridge of Music is teaching children how to ride a skateboard!

Sometimes it is easier to learn something they perceive as scary from a stranger, rather than parents or even a sibling.

The Bay Ridge School of Music is at 7207 Fort Hamilton Parkway.

On February 13th around 1:00 am, a woman was raped. This is the third rape in our area this year.

The location appears to be on the Belt Parkway (the blue dot at the bottom of the map is the location) which seems to be here.

Chaim Deutch, a politician who takes the train to City Hall commented on how the NYC subway has become more dangerous and reverted back to the issues it had in the ’80s. (See article)

Josie is at Sean Casey Animal Rescue at 153 East 3rd Street in Brooklyn. She’s almost two years old.

Josie loves people and dogs, but not cats.

This dog walks well on a leash and loves pig ears.

Parking is tight normally. When it snows it is even tighter.

Sometimes you have to be a daring and go for the spot!
