91st Street Bay Ridge Kittens
Itty Bitty Kitty Rescue in Bay Ridge shared the pictures of these tiny kittens. They were found in the basement of a building on 91st street.
The mother cat was nowhere in sight.
The kittens are about 2-3 weeks old, and are being bottle fed by one of our volunteers of Itty Bitty Kitty.
They will be available for adoption once they are old enough.

The Ridge Creative Spring Break Camp in Bay Ridge
The Ridge Creative Center
The Ridge Creative Center at UNION CHURCH 7915 Ridge Blvd. Brooklyn, NY 11209 347-860-1932
The Ridge Creative Center is offering Vacation Day service during the Easter/Passover Break, for 4 days, from Monday, March 29th – Thursday, April 1st from 8:30 – 2:30.
Each day will include: a lesson on the theme of the day, a related art project and a snack.
Traditionally, there is a trip, but due to Covid this had to be slightly changed. All off site excursions will be local.
Students need to bring their own lunch.
The cost is $80 per day for those who are registered in our After School for the 2019 – 2020 or 2020 – 2021 school term or who attended our Summer Program in 2019 for 4 or more weeks. For others the cost is $90 per day. The day runs from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm.
If you sign up for 3 or more days the cost is $80 per day. Please note we need 3 students registered per day to open. Due to Covid, there is limited space.
In order for us to plan appropriately, we are asking parents to register and make payment by March 25th. Those who cancel are still responsible for payment. 347-860-1932

Bay Ridge Environmental Group Formed After Nicole Malliotakis Won
I saw this new group:
I had never heard of them.
If you know me, you know my husband likes to recycle everything (and I mean everything). Have you seen this recycling list?
Some interesting things about Bay Ridge Environmental group:
1) It is composed of former and current residents. Why do former residents think they have a right to speak into this community? When you move, go take care of your new community.
2) Their first appearance in the media is in a Staten Island website that doesn’t like Nicole Malliotakis. They printed a letter to Congresswoman Malliotakis this letter.
3) It appears to be political group, rather than an environmental group. If they were an environmental group, why wouldn’t they have done something for the environment by now? Maybe they are saving their energy for the Spring?
Update: 700 trees were being removed from a park in Manhattan. I contacted the head of this group, Daniel and he was not interested – not even a little bit.

Janice Dean, senior meteorologist at Fox News, lost her in-laws to Covid 19 while they were in a nursing home.
Dean, The Arbeeny Family and local supporters are putting together a We Care Memorial to honor and remember 15,000 Nursing Home Residents who died during Covid-19.

Fresh Bread at Lombardo’s

Lombardo’s of Bay Ridge is known for it’s pizza. But now it’s also becoming known for it’s fresh, hot bread!
They have regular brick oven bread, prosciutto bread, cranberry bread and olive bread.
And then there’s this chocolate bread:
Lombardos is at 279 71st Street. Call before you go because they don’t always have these breads in stock. It may be a Sunday thing. 718-238-7100
