Champion Martial Arts in Bay Ridge Has Classes for 3-Year-Olds
When Spring hits, parents start searching for t-ball teams for their children. Most baseball teams start at 4 years old.
Champions Martial Arts on 3rd Avenue and 93rd Street has classes Monday through Saturday for children 3 years old and up.

Many Shuttered Storefronts in Bay Ridge
Covid-19 hurt many businesses.
The Brooklyn Veterinary Group kept their New Utrecht office. (See here)
Bay Ridge had empty store fronts long before Covid-19 hit.
When there are multiple closures on one block, it looks terrible:
Lighthouse Diner
Property owners or their realtors should be required to put banner signs across the top so that the rest of the block doesn’t have to look at the ugly empty storefronts.
Compass Realty uses these signs:
The old Paint Your Pot Storefront is empty, but doesn’t make the area look blighted.

NYC Optical is on the corner of 86th Street and 5th Avenue. They put a very cool mural on the side of their building.

They enjoyed their dinner! Check out their video:

Grand Prix Dancewear Store Moves Next to The Bean Post on 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge
Grand Prix Dancewear Store has been in Bay Ridge for many years.

It used to be upstairs from Dunkin Donuts. Now Grand Prix is at 7523 – 5th Avenue, in the old Greeting Store spot between Dunkin Donuts and The Bean Post. They haven’t put up a new awning yet.

Szuszkiewicz said to an audience of people without masks on: “Politicians know masks don’t work and the vaccine is not good.”
YIKES!
I wouldn’t depend on politicians for any important health information. Several of our politicians mistook the empty restaurants on 8th Avenue as a sign of racism, rather than fear of contracting Covid-19.
Let’s go with scientists on masks – wear a mask!
This year has been a nightmare for people who have lost someone to Covid-19. They will tell you to wear the mask and stop making a big deal out of it:
I can understand why some people don’t want to get vaccinated, but wearing a mask is not that big of a deal.
One in four New Yorkers are vaccinated, so we can do this without Mark Szuszkiewicz (Source)
