Michael Bistreich worked for former Councilman Vincent Gentile.
Bistreich had a lawsuit with the city. The papers filed in court are very sad. See here.
The City of New York settled with Bistreich and awarded him $850,000. See Story
In April 2021, The City reported that Vincent Gentile has been working for OATH since February 2018. (See here)

Brad Lander Made the News Again – 111th Parking Ticket
Brad Lander made the newspaper again today! See here
Lander got his 111th parking ticket. I guess we should all be glad he wasn’t speeding through a red light zone. See here
We heard Lander speak about the Comptroller position. #SMH
Lander should pull out from the election and endorse Terry Liftin, whose very qualified, but not a politician.

Creative Color Palette Summer Camp
Creative Color Palette has Art Summer Camp for ages 5-11 from June 30th – July 23rd. Monday-Friday 9am-12pm. 1pm-4pm.

The camp day is broken down into:
1 hr 30min-Painting, drawing, oil pastels ,watercolor painting, mixed media or color pencils.
1 hr 30min -Fun time, play different games, dance and music.
Maximum 8 kids.
Children will be introduced: line, color, perspective, how to set up a palette, mix colors, use brushes, basic shapes, value, texture, Form, Contrast, Balance and techniques to make drowning better. They’re going to experiment with different TECHNIQUES.

Vaccinated People Don’t Need a Mask Indoors or Outdoors – CDC and Biden
They should be clear with the information:
Fully vaccinated people will also still need to wear masks on airplanes, buses, trains and other public transportation, she said.
And yes, you have to wear one in a store if the store has a sign that says you do. Why? Because the store belongs to someone who is trying to do business safely. Be respectful and don’t give them a hard time.
Supposedly you get it a lot less severe.

RIP Boris Posavec – He Will Be Missed By People in Brooklyn to Croatia
RIP Boris Posavec.
Saint Francis College mourns. (See here)
A Go Fund Me was set up to defray funeral costs in Zagreb, Croatia. See here Over $50,000 was raised to bring Boris back to Croatia and pay for his funeral.
Boris was part of the St. Francis College – Class of 2021 and was remembered at graduation. The college wrote: “Boris Posavec was a member of the Class of 2021, graduating with a BS/MS in Accounting and a beloved member of SFC’s men’s water polo program. The news of his tragic passing has been felt throughout the St. Francis College family. Boris will always be remembered in our hearts and his memory will be forever celebrated within our community.”

RIP Boris. He’s with God now.

Teen Soccer and Cricket Teams – Free
I’ve never seen this before. It’s nice that the NYPD is running teams for teens who love sports.
It’s awesome that it extends to age 19 because kids who play together on CYO or high school teams can still play.

Mr. Chips, a new diner opened at 7506 – 3rd Avenue.
Their menu is up here.
Update: People love this place because the food is fresh and delicious.
This new diner is coming where Lighthouse Cafe used to be.
