April 22, 2021Brad Lander – The Rules Don’t Apply to Him

Brad Lander made The Post for his poor driving record. See here

A few years ago, Lander came to Bay Ridge to stand with Gounardes and talk about the former senator’s driving record and push speed cameras. Now, Lander has been caught for speeding in school zones.

Why isn’t Senator Andrew Gounardes speaking out against Brad Lander? Gounardes is silent.
Justin Brannan also endorsed Lander. Brannan is also silent. The name of the game isn’t really street safety, it’s politics.
Marty Golden got the last licks on Brad Lander in the article! (See here)
Tonight, Brad Lander was on Errol Louis’ show. Errol doesn’t mince his words. He called Lander out for every New Yorker who is sick of entitled politicians.
Lander didn’t apologize and didn’t seem to think his driving record was awful. Lander made excuses and talked about other drivers!
Sad part: Brad Lander is also a father. How does he do this in front of his family? #Embarrassing

(Source)
The 23-year-old mother, Danezja Kilpatrick was charged with the murder. (Pictured here) As the comment below mentioned, this may be a case of postpartum depression.
This is just so horrific and sad.
RIP. So sad and awful that their life was awful.
God has these two angels now.

April 21, 2021Avery Pereira Won in Court

Woohoo! Avery Pereira won in court!
The GOP tried to push Avery off the ballot and they were unsuccessful.
Shame on those who played politics! You should know better! Protip: Don’t go after a good person.
The GOP loses over and over because they attack their own party. When will they learn?
Avery will be on the ballot on June 22nd for District Leader of the 51st Assembly District.

April 20, 2021If Eric Garner’s Trial Happened Now, Would There Be Different Results?

Derek Chauvin, the police officer who killed George Floyd in Minnosota last May was found guilt on all three charges today. (See here)
I thought it was a done deal and the prosecutors went hard. I was surprised to see how worried news reporters were today. We knew Minnesota wasn’t going to let that happen.
We were glad to see today’s verdict.
George Floyd and Eric Garner’s last words were, “I can’t breathe.”
We wondered if Eric Garner’s case was tried now, would the verdict be different?
