Brian Fox Protesters Outside Justin Brannan’s Office Because the Councilman Broke the Law 16 Times

Brian Fox and residents spoke out against Councilman Justin Brannan today.

I don’t see a link to the video from this presser yet, but Fox called for Brannan to act and show that he is serious. See here

Councilman Brannan broke the law and sped through school zones 16 times and was ticketed. Then he went and yelled at other drivers about their speeding. When the NY Post story came out, Brannan blamed his opponents for tipping off the NY Post. (See here)

Street activists have called for Brannan to return his placard because his office had prior placard abuse, but Brannan has ignored them. (See here)

Andrew Gounardes Accepted A Lot of PAC Money This Year – #PayToPlay Politics

YIKES! Senator Andrew Gounardes accepted a lot of PAC money this year. While it is not an election year for him, PAC money shouldn’t be accepted by senators who represent a community because those PACS want something.

What does the dental PAC want from Senator Gounardes? They donated $5,000.

Andrew pushed two bills for this Political Action Committee, instead of for Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights or Marine Park. Did this community elect him to push bills for a political action committee?

Andrew’s father was a dentist. But that doesn’t mean Andrew should be using our senate seat to push bills for a PAC.

#1 Bill: See bill

#2: See bill – this bill has made it through the NYS Senate. This is Pay-to-Play politics. Gounardes told us he was against this type of corruption.

How is it possible that this bill made it through the senate during a pandemic year?

What do you think the Manhattan Beer Distributors LLC NYS PAC want Andrew to do? They aren’t donating thousands because they like Andrew’s hair.

Then there is this PAC which donated in February and again in July.

The legislative season is only January to June (the beginning of June). There really isn’t a lot of time for a politician to devote time to PACs.

When we see problems in our community not being handled year after year, by the same politician, it means that person is not focused on the area.

I would call and tell Senator Gounardes to give back the PAC money, but I have contacted him repeatedly and he doesn’t return my phone call.
