You know Christian was an incredible person because his family keeps his memory alive in the most beautiful ways and everyone in our community gets to share in it.
Throughout the year, the family holds events – some to fundraise for the Christian Santo Foundation and some to celebrate Christian’s life (their Winter Wonderland is incredible). The Christian Santo Foundation gives scholarships and helps people in need.
Christian Santo has to be in Heaven smiling because he was so loved.

October 6, 2025RIP Zemfira Mukhtarov – From Bay Ridge
RIP Zemfira Mukhtarov. I didn’t realize she was from Bay Ridge. She was a student at McKinley Junior High School.
On Saturday morning around 3:00 am, Zemfira and her friend, Ebba Morina, left their homes and went to subway surf. Zemfira was killed on the J train at the Marcy Avenue station in Williamsburg. News:
Zemfira was only 12 years old. NYC has to do more to keep children off the top of trains.
The MTA hanging signs telling people to ride inside the train isn’t working. Children continue to subway surf and no one has taken action. Where are the parent’s petitions?
Where are the politicians? Silent as usual…silence is easier.
Prayers for her parents and her sister, Maryam. Maryam is 11-years-old and she spoke to ABC News.
