Brooklyn Socialist Don’t Want Max Rose Again Either

Who would have thought that Socialists and I had the same thought – No More Max Rose!

Update: Ive seen some recent things about Brittany and I don’t think those things are good for a candidate running for a government office.

I don’t want Max Rose because he became part of the system and he hasn’t been able to tell Democrats in our area when they are wrong. When Andrew Gounardes voted for bail reform, Rose didn’t say anything. When Councilman Brannan played around on Twitter about Defunding the Police, Max Rose didn’t say anything. (Rose is very active on social media so he saw what Brannan wrote and was silent).

Nicole Malliotakis is working for Brooklyn and Staten Island and doing a good job of it. I was never a Malliotakis fan, but I think she has done a good job representing her district. Her office has been helpful and her communication has been excellent.

Brooklyn Smokes Opened on 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge

Brooklyn Smokes opened at  7815 3rd Avenue.

This is a vape shop. Brooklyn Smokes doesn’t sell full spectrum THC products, which are not legal in New York state yet. THC is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis that produces the high sensation.

They do sell delta nine hemp derived THC informs of gummy‘s which is completely legal in New York and falls under the farm bill passed a few years ago.

They have it in edibles like brownies and gummies. Check out their photos on instagram.

Licenses to sell cannabis in NY won’t be available until 2023.

Some people are able to get pain relief by using THC.

This store is where Things On Third gift shop used to be.

There is another Brooklyn Smokes store at 5602 Avenue N.

Eric Adams Announced David Banks at the New NYC Chancellor of Schools

The announcement is making many people happy because David Banks is an educator. Someone who has taught in NYC knows what is going on.

Mayor de Blasio’s biggest success was because he appointed an educator to NYC schools, Carmen Farina – not the other guy!

Banks is showing he is curriculum and wants to make sure all students in NYC know how to read.

You can’t take an educator from Florida and expect him to understand NYC schools and families. Caranza went on the attack with parents – bad move in NYC. (See here) If parents are taking the time to be at the school and meetings, it means that education is important to them.

Banks said he will expand Gifted and Talented Programs. (See his statements here)

It’s nice to see Chancellor Banks start on such a positive and hopeful tone- that matters. Banks also didn’t talk favorably about people working at Tweed who were impacting education.

If you know anything about education, G&T is special education – it’s necessary for children who need to be challenged.

Where are all those politicians who supported G&T when they ran for office, but then folded when Mayor de Blasio announced he was ending these programs, politicians like Senator Andrew Gounardes folded – he didn’t fight back – at all.

Brannan initially suppoted G&T, but then went silent.

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis consistently supported G&T – she didn’t waver on it.

Today, Malliotakis was satisfied with Banks appointment.
