The Infrastructure Bill Money That People Want to Waste

We can already see that NY is going to waste the infrastructure money due to greed.

There is no one in Bay Ridge hoping for a Bay Ridge to Astoria line. (See here)

NYC’s street need real repair (not patches) and Dyker Height’s needs to be rewired.

Why are people who know very little about infrastructure commenting on how the infrastructure money should be spent?

Catnip Solo – AMAZING

Wow she sounds so good solo!

I’ve heard her sing/play with other people. I think she used to play with a band called Full Disclosure. I’ve also heard her during Festivals with I think two other Catnip band members.

I didn’t realize her voice was this good. (Brian shared the video on Facebook)

Shooting on Belt Parkway in Brooklyn – 65 Year Old Man Killed. Belt Eastbound Closed

Channel 4 News said that around 4:00 pm today, an officer stopped a gray Jeep Cheroke. A 65-year old man was driving the Jeep Eastbound on the Belt Parkway.

The officer was in an unmarked car and the Jeep rear-ended her car. The Jeep continued on the highway, the officer called for backup and went after the Jeep. The police pulled the Jeep over, the man got out of the Jeep with a gun. He was told to drop the gun and didn’t. The police shot him in the leg (later the news said several time). The news also said that no officers were injured.

On Twitter, a man shared a video he took of the shooting. THIS VIDEO HAS THE SHOOTING – DON’T CLICK IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW) There were 20 rounds fired.

The person who videotaped the shooting said that the police killed the man, but Channel 4 News said that man was shot in the leg and was being brought to the hospital. Update: The news announced the man had died.

NY Actions shared the photo above. They also shared video of police vehicles driving onto the highway (Driving westbound on the Eastbound side of the Belt)

Belt Parkway Eastbound is closed for the investigation.

Senator Gounardes didn’t say a word on about this on any social media account – he was busy commenting about an incident in Rockland County. (see here). It’s almost like he is clueless that this huge incident happened.

Several hours after the incident, Brannan commented on Twitter. He knew the cops were heroic by then.

Ridgite Calls Out Century’s Store on 86th Street

Century 21 should open or lease the store to some other merchants. The store shouldn’t remain empty or be an eyesore in a major shopping area of the neighborhood. The owners did well in this neighborhood so they should remember that.

One Ridgite spoke out in the Daily News….Go Kris Santorian!

Kris Santorian wrote to the Daily News to share thoughts about Century’s Department Store on 86th Street leaving the Bay Ridge store empty.

I’m not sure what Kris Santorian means “that the politicians have done everything”….we haven’t seen them do anything on 86th Street. Did they offer Century’s something?

86th Street has a BID and that BID should be rallying for the stores that exist on the strip..
