NYC Council Should Be Clearing the Path to Citizenship – Not Giving Non-Citizens the Right to Vote

Look here to see what is being thrown at NYC at the end of the year.

While Democrats and Republicans fight over who has the right to vote, the real problem is not being handled by NYC Council.

I’ve written about my support for immigrants for years. But the right to vote in an election doesn’t belong to someone who settled into an area for awhile or who pays taxes. It belongs to a citizen who has settled in the area for 30 days.

Why isn’t NYC Council moving to fix the immigration system, so people can become citizens and then get the right to vote?

Some people have an easy time becoming citizens and some do not. NYC Council shouldn’t give noncitizens the right to vote – that is a right of citizens. The should correct the problem where people can’t obtain citizenship.

Cars Being Keyed on Shore Road

Bay Ridge residents whose cars were keyed on Shore Road from 86th to 92nd Street have asked for cameras because this problem has continued for six months.

In some instances, the new cars have been keyed on both sides.

Helicopters Searched for Missing Brooklyn Woman

Pui Chow, a 70-year-old woman living in Sunset Park, Brooklyn was reported missing around 2:00 pm today. She has Alzheimer’s.

She was wearing a light-gray jacket, blue sweatpants, white sneakers, black purse.

Pui Chow is 5’3” tall, 170 lbs and has a shaved head. She speaks Cantonese.

She was last seen walking on 8th Avenue and 63rd Street.

By 11:00 pm this evening she still did not return home.

Trump Still Supports Congresswoman Malliotakis

Donald Trump trashed all of the Republicans who voted with Biden, but he still supports Nicole Malliotakis. (Pardon my laughter, but this is like a scene out of a reality television show)

Malliotakis’ vote was for her community, so it was the right vote.

Congresswoman Malliotakis called Trump and he said he’s still with her. LOL. (See the story here)
