Forcible Touching in Bay Ridge – Who Is This?

This man approached a woman 74th Street and 4th Avenue almost three months ago and grabbed a woman’s butt. Police in Manhattan shared the photo here.

If you know anything call 1-800-577-8477 and submit a tip or leave me the info and I will submit a tip for you (and give you the money).

Thank you to the NYPD for waiting almost three months to show this picture. We have all types of social media. Even without a photo, a description can be shared with the community, so people are on alert.

Thank you to our politicians who said nothing as usual. It it doesn’t affect their street or their family, they don’t say anything. #AimLow

Staten Island Man Arrested for Hate Crime in Bay Ridge

The 68th Precinct shared that a Staten Island man was arrested for the incident on 86th Street – See story here.

NYPD Hate Crimes twitter account shared more:

Good work NYPD Hate Crimes Unit!

Let’s see how the 68th Precinct recorded the hate crimes:

They didn’t record it as a hate crime for the week that the incident happened on 86th Street, but it has now made it for the 28 Day Crime Statistics.

Strangely their total for the year is still 0 – no hate crimes for 2022 – marked in red above. It should have a 1.

(Also note there were no hate crimes for 2021.)

Does Community Board 10 Know That Lobbyists are Behind the New Loading Zones That Will Change Parking in Bay Ridge?

Tonight, Tuesday, January 11th, Community Board 10 is having a presentation on the new Neighborhood Loading Zones which will change parking on about 25 blocks in our area.

It’s strange that no elected representative has mentioned this.

Int. 2277 Truck Loading Zones (2021) was passed rather quickly. Strangely, Councilman Justin Brannan never explained this on social media or in his mailings

Councilman Brannan voted in favor of the bill for loading zones.

Justin Brannan also didn’t tell Bay Ridge that he was lobbied by Red Apple Group. (You know who owns Red Apple Group, right?)

The bill passed quickly through City Council during a pandemic year. Isn’t strange that politicians thought that people needed this bill during the pandemic?

The lobbyist used the same number for the bill, but they call it the truck parking bill. ; )

You can see the lobbyist information here by searching for the Client: Red Apple Group. Lobbying Target : Justin Brannan

You can also see some info here.

Will Community Board 10 tell Bay Ridge about this tonight? If someone is in charge of this committee, they should present the history of how these changes came to our neighborhood (many of the members of CB10 were appointed by Brannan)

Sometimes Community Board 10 leaves out important information out.

Why didn’t Justin Brannan stand up against the lobbyists? You will have to ask him.

He’s is making silly graphics, he has the time to hear from you.

Lobbyists have a way of making NYC Council dance.
